Really really nice Cheesy

I'd be interested to buy a few, but could you post more info and stuff? Size, pricing, stackability, pics with real cards in the case, etc. Maybe you should start a website, because I am confused between the different "versions"?

Well I'm thinking about going to sell them on calesaurus but idk he wants them is some designs when I make it custom for each customer so idk but will be a lot better since people can't trust anyone on the forums anymore because everyone gets scammed lol there really needs to be a rep system also that last case was 250$ for him because it had that upper self and the bottom shelf really adds a lot of money to the cost I think I can make that same design made to fit 7 cards for 180 without the top shelf and the bottom shelf hoping you just use an ssd and use a usb cs drive temp to install the os.

Absolutely fantababulous.

So you can craft rackmount versions?  I have a 42U rack and I would be interested in getting the whole thing as densely populated with cards as possible.

These cases are not strong enough for be put in a rack mount case these cases are made for shelf's not to be held in in some odd way unless you get a shelf in a rack mount server and put it there that would work good.

Just did another piece here are the pics of my favorite blow torch and the comparison with the melted sides :3 also took some pics of the unfinished plexi glass. Hard to see the comparison since I didn't do a quick stroke with the flame making it more blurred.

Equipment (bought wrong sandpaper wears out almost instantly lol)

Unfinished Shit:

Alright guys just got the plastic today as well with the corner braces and weather strip to give the cards something to rest on instead of sitting on metal hehe also the person who bought this design is Airwhale thanks for him so I could build the first case Cheesy

Here are the pics guys:

Here is the design he wanted:

Here is the what I have done to the plexi to make it shiny:

Without sanding and blow torch:

With sanding and blow torch:

Comparison between the 2 together:

Here is the plexi glass sitting on my bed:

Here is a better angle of the side of it:

Here is the screws and corner braces along with some weather strips for the cards to sit on (Look for my name lol):

Here is the receipts of the tap plastics trip as well as the lowes trip:

Maybe i missed this earlier in the thread, but how is the motherboard mounted to the case. Are you using a prebuilt MB tray?

I would be interested in a case like the original (low in height) for 2 PSU, 1 MB and 6 double wide GPU.

I would be interested in a bulk buy after buying one for testing purposes.

The motherboard is screwed into standoffs in the plexi glass also do you want fans? or just open air stack able ones are easy to do nice airflow in.

Just found out I can make it out of carbon steel for the same price! The only price that will change is the cost to ship it because its a heavier metal

Carbon steel is wonderful stuff, but it rusts unless you paint it carefully. And you still have stuctural issues if you do not cross brace.

Considering to have it welded.

Now you are getting into some really messy stuff. After it is welded you will need to thoroughly wirebrush or sandblast before painting if you hope to stave off rust.

Carbon steel will be riged enough from something this small to not flex he's using tubular members

Part of the design spec is for it to be stacked. Once someone loads these things 10-20 units high cross bracingand rigity will be essential.

Why would you want the case to flex?
