Great news! JCE is the best Smiley No linux build for now, I guess he's building it right now as the windows release has been put online just one hour ago Wink

Maybe we could invite him to participate in the megabounty ? =)

Helllooo uPlexors!

JCE miner has just announced the updated CPU version of his miner with uPlexa support:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.48783824

Here you can download Windows / Linux version. Note that you need the latest - 33j.
In his next GPU version update, he will add uPlexa too.

Happy hashing!

Unfortunately not, only open source miners can participate in the bounty as stated on rule 4 of the Development bounty.

Cheers!

Oh yeah right, he's not open sourced... mm I hope there's nothing fishy with that app? I suppose the numerous users currently using it would have spotted something, right?

Usually when a crypto project is not open source, it gets bashed by the community, that's why I'm asking...

Something strange. in the wallet do not come coins. They were gone, dug up again. and again disappeared ((that can be? who can tell? Sad Sad Sad

Grizzly866 - your coins will not be gone, rest assured. You can always check the web wallet to confirm that the coins are on the blockchain; https://wallet.uplexa.com/#!/
I know there's some work being done on the GUI wallet at the minute, after one or two people had problems (most of us have no issues).

It might be useful if you join our Discord; https://discord.gg/a7mAQwJ where you can speak with our Core team and people who may have experienced similar issues Smiley

It's always good to hear the coin is getting more famous Smiley
I'll ask again JCE miner if he would add it now.
(He refused a month ago, because it was new born).

I'm glad SRB added it.

Good news, if GPU don't get a tremendous advantage over CPUs... Which, as far as discord discussions are concerned, shouldn't be the case, fewwww Smiley

The number of pools is growing! Let's decentralize the power and take it off the main (and first Wink ) pool!

https://miningpoolstats.stream/uplexa

I'm mining now on my Vernee X Android phone =)))) 100 h/s, not bad!!

TOP for little miners: you'll want to mine on hashing.center pool or https://crypto9coin.cf/upx, as they have a much lower minimum payment.

Rock on, uPlexa!

Hello uPlexors Smiley Fruity Pool released a GPU miner for uPlexa.
You can download it from here: https://github.com/FruityPool/FruityMiner/releases
It works with both Nvidia and AMD GPUs. AMDs sometimes show minor errors,
but mining  continues. Good luck and happy hashing!

On discord I saw some discussion on the devices that could/should be used for uPlexa mining. Maybe it's an idea to set-up some sort of working document of devices:
1) on which it is possible to mine already
2) that are being worked on.
3) which could/should be a possibility in the future.
I think the community can easily keep such a list growing. I am sure the devs do have a list of awesome ideas somewhere, but it is possible they are missing/overlooking some or even a lot of the devices that are out there, since there should be quite a few IoT-devices in the future.

We have a database of every device that our users have mined with so far; https://www.uplexamining.com/hw-benchmarks/
We've also just today added estimated earnings per 24 hours.

We'll have people posting about their experiences with IoT devices, and will generally try to keep all our mining materials in one place for everyone Smiley

And again, for those who wonder why there are only miners for the usual power computer for now, while the project talks about IoT all over the place... well, first of all the network needs to have a steady and stable base, and as the project is in its infancy, there aren't gazillions of users empowering the blockchain. So it makes sense to prioritize the "usual" computers, as it's the easiest and faster to release, and the firstcomers are most always miners, with existing rigs.

This provides a good stable securized network, which is now able to welcome the little machines (the so-called IoT devices Wink ). That's why the Dev and community are already and very actively working on developing the mining apps on the little rockchip processors for instance, aiming Android TV boxes, and Android smartphones.

And it's only the beginning Smiley

Nowadays, words such as "pre-mine", "ICO" or even "masternodes" can sound appalling to many potential investors.
Given the market and projects we have seen the last year you can't blame the investors. But if they will look away directly just after seeing those words they might be missing out on the hidden gems, like Uplexa. My 2 cents: the real investors are still investigating projects with the word Premine, and if they don't they're not real investors. But IF they look away they will just be hearing from Uplexa in the news, and that's when it might be way too late (for them) Wink
so are they really going to hold an ICO?
Investors turned always has excuses, whether it's because the process is too long or there is no development means. should be before that happens the team have prepared something great.

There is no ICO. There is a pre-mine, which is being used to incentivise the community to develop solutions and promote uPlexa. The community is incredibly transparent; everyone who's joined the discord for a couple of days has been pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness of the core team and supporting community members. We already have independent websites, stood up by non-project members at their own expense, just 3 weeks after code launch.

Join in, talk to them, you wont be disappointed.
No one on this project want's to BS you, or pull you in under false pretences Smiley ...maybe that's what the crypto world needs!
