That is the feature of bitcoin that it is anonymous and you can't even try to trace each transactions. And that is why people in the dark market wants to use bitcoin as medium of payment for their transactions because they want it for their safety. They don't want people to know their identity and wanted to keep their identity hidden always.

All bitcoins transactions are recorded on the public blockchain and are therfore viewable and traceable to anyone that wants to start looking.
Bitcoin transactions are not annonumous.

Tons of interesting stuff indeed sometimes I browse it purely because my curiousity gets the best of me.
But browsing it you see so many different kind of stuff which you would never see on ebay for example, very interesting indeed.

Indeed dark marketplaces contain so much illegal products it's absurd but it's mostly because it's the one place on the internet where it's completely safe aside from undercovers. Be careful anyways always when visiting dark marketplaces.

From what I know dark marketplaces are only interesting if you are part of illegal activities. They use it cause it's very anonymous and hard to track purchases.
But to set up a dark marketplace yourself is too much effort and danger in my opinion.

Dark marketplaces are usually used for illegal businesses to sell and buy stolen stuff or illegal stuff like drugs weapons etc.
If you make one you could get in trouble with authorities since you provide a platform for illegal products to be sold. It's interesting to see one though but it's not easy.

They just want to secure their identities and good thing that they have discovered bitcoin is going to do their want to hide their information.

And I guess their usage of bitcoin is helping the economy of bitcoin because people there are contributing in the economy of bitcoin.

By having a big demand of bitcoins in their market.

Sure we wanna use bitcoin for something then dark marketplaces, that used before fiat to handle their transactions, but they saw at bitcoin and now at altcoins the opportunity to handle their transactions easy then the fiat, i dont consider it as problem, in fact is good to have interest from others people even when those are connected to dark business.

If you are going to stand by in the dark marketplaces like deep web their payment method used there is bitcoin. Because they are all protecting their identities because the eyes of the FBI are always there and as well as hackers that are going to try to fetch your information. And it is better if you are going to stay away from having transactions there in deep web.

I don't agree on the "just like how you set up a market online here in the clear web" because it's not true. Making a market in the darknet is not the same as making a simple market here in the normal web. It is way more complicated than making a simple one since it will be used in illegal activities. If it is just like the simple one then it means traceable, vulnerable to hack and the admin will be easily arrested if it's like how you setup a market online on the normal web, only insane would do that placing that kind of market in the dark places in deep web.

There are a lot of dark marketplaces, I think that its no problem and you can buy some nice things on it too if you are asking me.
Of course its not something you can simply do these days but dark marketplaces are sometimes also nice so..

There are a lot of dark marketplaces these days and I think that we cannot stop this, some are good and some are full of scammers its really depending.
They let you get in big problems but most of the times there is nothing wrong with looking around.
