I use 4 main methods to successfully trade the cryptocurrency markets.

1. Arbitrage trading – I have developed proprietary software which allows me to be notified when any of the major players in the market are using tether to arbitrage between exchanges.  In general arbitrage trading will become riskier over the next 12 months as many smaller exchanges will die out providing mispriced markets on particular cryptocurrencies. These exchanges may never release any funds they receive if they are on their last legs.
2. Monitoring media price manipulation- Bloomberg crypto and CNBC are the major players in the finance industry and they consistently report positive of negative news in clumps which is designed to rapidly increase or decrease the price of cryptocurrency. Be aware that this practice can’t last to long as traders are catching on.

3. Major fundamentals- Currently we are awaiting word on a potential Bitcoin ETF although I don’t think this will eventuate until 2019. We are looking to take a large leveraged position long BTC when the first major institution confirms they have their crypto funds stored with Bakkt exchange. This will most likely happen at the end of the year.

4. Other proprietary trading software- I have created apps which monitors large cryptocurrency networks allowing me to track the volume of crypto sent to wallets, exchanges as well as notifying me to which algorithmic trading programs are currently active.

I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?
To be able to trade on success I believe you must have a lot of skills to be profitable. You can see that the market is constantly fluctuating so you need to accurately analyze the market mix and keep track of bitcoin prices while trading to minimize risk and earn a secure profit. Always plan and comply with the plan.

Sometimes we can say that day trade is a lucky thing. But for me in general, it is your skill that makes you successful in trading business. Lucky is just another term for a chance or wild guessing. But when we talk about skill, it is well-planned, thorough research and with technical analysis on market price movement as when is the right time to buy and sell coins you are planning to invest in just a very short period of time to gain more profits.

It is mostly skill, you can still get lucky because markets are not doing what they are suppose to do most of the time.
Nevertheless, if you do your research, check the charts, read it well and have the skills to know what it should do, most of the time you will profit from it, however even if you know all of that and a
professional trader sometimes the coins do not go to the way they suppose to. Luck is involved in less number, no one can get lucky constantly.

At the present time, skill really plays a very important role in day trading when the market is very abnormal, it is no longer as easy as in the past, now things can always change very quickly, based on luck will no longer be effective because as you say, luck does not exist forever beside us. Only our skill is the most effective weapon, it helps us to find opportunities and profits, if the situation is worse but with good skill, we can also switch from defeat to victory or we can limit loss, so we may not have luck but skills are indispensable when we want to survive in day trading

Day trading requires a lot of new skills that can get high profits. If trading day depends only on luck, you will fail and lose money when trading.

Relying only on luck in day trading is insane. Of course, any daytime crypto-currency trader is a professional in his field and it's your skills that help you earn money.

Luck still exists, in addition to the knowledge that we really have to be able to make a profit in order to get maximum results. experience is also important when we want to trade in order to convince our decisions

Knowledge is very important on trading and knowing all things will lead you to success. Day trade is good but I will prefer long term for the longer success will be a good one with a big profit comes.

I think both. It is a skill if we trade very carefully and at least for 12 to 14 hours. In this case, we should be satisfied with little profit otherwise we must lose. It is lucky because it has a big chance of losing. Since here big lose involved so if we can make a profit then it should be lucky things ever. Though we should think always before doing anything.

it is a skill, because there can be no fire if no one turns it on. luck only once but if day trade must be someone who has enough ability to manage market develop every day

You need the skills, and you also need the luck both of them are important. It’s just like when they say that faith without work makes no sense. That’s the same thing with having the skills and luck. Sometimes the success is right there, but it requires the ability to discover that luck where it is. If you don’t have the skills, it takes to be a trader you will end up with missing lots of opportunities every day.
So both of them are important.

In my opinion, day trading is really very hard. It depends on your skill and heed. As for me, i prefer mid term trading. It is more clear and save. For trading you should learn technical analysis. If you are lasy boy, so just make an investment and play in long term. But do not belive only in luck. And do not belive to your friends - trading is hard work.

It's a bit of both for sure. You need to have whole lot of patience and nerves of steal. It's not a game for everybody but once you get used to it it makes a lot of fun as well.

Day trading can be profitable if we have good trading plan and how to manage the risk. Dont trade when bad condition of market And avoid trade when tired and so we can more focus on trading activity. In my opinion day trading  will be profitable if we can control emotion and always trade according to trading plan.

Maybe a little bit both. Normaly you would have 50% to pick the right direction, but with proper knowledge, and skills, you may can increse it to 70 Smiley

I can only agree with you here. If the guy really knows he is a lucky man, and when he has skills, why cannot he try to deal with the day trading and earn more?

Especially the first two or three trade you can win even if the market is so bad. Skill always need to take a trade for open. There are simple people here who think the same in the same situations.
