I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

As far as bitcoin trading is concerned, buying in the dips and holding them for long term only would be beneficial since bitcoin price increases gradually only in long term.Totally opposite to it,altcoin market is highly volatile and so buying in dips and immediately selling when it pumps is profitable, that is day trading in a short period of time even trading many times in a single day itself.

I think Day trading is for seasoned planers just like in Share market. You need to have a plan to follow, at any cost. Initially its better to hold while in learning curve  Smiley

Agree with this. Though it is not seasoned really but those who have a hard time to watch those candles or graphs in market because you will watch the movement of coin and you should decide whether to sell or not but this strategy is more comfortable because its your decision and  it is always in you unlike those hold in peroid of times we dont know if the price dumps or pumps

Hodling > trading 99% of the time. Unless your the next George Soros, holding is always the way forward. Much less stressful and bigger returns long term.

The most profitable between the two is the holding or the long term investment and there is no doubt about it but for me I prefer more day trading than holding. I do not know why I prefer more day trading but I am sure that I am comfortable in day trading.

Obviously day traing is way more profitable than hodling/long term trading. But day trading is riskier than long-term trading because if you miss the timing you could lose huge amount. Also not everyday you'll see opportunity to earn big and most of all, you have to full time on day trading. Which means you have to give up your job and be full time on trading. Unlike long-term, it's not that risky compare to day trade but low profit. Also don't need to be on full time. Just sell when you are comfortable with the profits.

If i were to choose. I will do long-term trading. Because the profits are sure and not so risky. Im also a student so this method suits me because i don't have to spend a lot of time just to trade. It makes me also comfortable because you are aiming at long term goal and your confident that your investment will grow over time. And most of all, you can easily correct your trading mistakes.

I think more to hold trading, this is very profitable and the results also multiply. Can you imagine if your profit is more than 80% just waiting for the right time to sell it, I think prefer hold trading despite long wait but the result is like getting a whale fishing in the middle of the ocean.
I think it's just same way if we are to be a day trader, because I see we can
take profit up to 3-5% /Day. It's mean we can get profit up to 100% or more per month.

I highly prefferd HODLing, it is more proffitable than day trading. In day trading you can gain a lot of proffit if you you know how to trade and have a big capital. But in the other hand of trading you can acctualy loose more if you make a day trade, so better to read about the coin you have to buy if its good for hodling.

I suggest that if you can afford to buy a bitcoin 1 bitcoin more or less it will be proffitable in the long run.

Some coins are best for hodling, while other coins are more interesting for day trading. In my opinion, coins in the second category are particularly those that are traded on several larger exchanges with sufficient trading volumes to offload if necessary.

I prefer to hold my coins than to day trading. I think that trading is more profitable than day trading. I have many experienced that holding is really effective way to earn big amount of money.

It both depends on your skills and knowledge on how things are being done. Trading both day trading and buying and holding  are very profitable depends on how both use them. For me who has benefiting from buying and holding coin i think I have never lose in my buying on holding. I made money in this way because that is were I developed my skills.

Daily trade and holding both are profitable. Holding is more profitable. I am a crypto trader. I do both daily and holding. In daily trade, you can make a small profit. But in holding you can make much profit. By daily trading, I earn about $50 or more. Although it looks small amount but tries to understand this small amount will be the big amount in the end of the month.

Two steps are profitable for me.i am a regular crypto trader.l like to do daily trade also like to hold crypto. Both of them are profitable if you know which one is good now. From ETH holding I earned about $1500 withing 1 month. doing the daily trade I earned about $50 or more.may be it's too small but I like to earn this amount.I holding now my bounty coin and doing an only daily trade.

hodling suits me more.im not a full time trader and i got  a regular job, daytrading stressing me so much.for the profit it depends on your tradeing experience i think.if you are good at that you can make more profit than hodling.

Trading and investing are two different terms. In trading trader have to adapt to different market situations, handle every single movement on charts, should follow news on world. etc. Investing is about time and value. Without experience you cant survive long time as trader.

I just try to hold long term, and the profit generated is also very good can reach 3 times the purchase price and it has been proven.
For the future I will do long term hold.

You can control up and down better but you earn less. Holding earn more but you hardly know it will go up or down after all that time.
All are risk, you can't control it as you like.
I think one of the logical answer for this question it is. Yes it is like a ping pong. If you are thinking for regular profit and you want to control it then result will give you less profit. On contrary, if you are thinking of huge profit then you might now be sure of results and you can’t control it. Everything is with some pros and cons.

You explained the conditions in a right way, so we need to create a balance between pros and cons. This means balancing the risks with profits. For this, we can make holding with 50% of our capital, and we can use the rest for day trading.

All are risky but holding involves least risk. If we are holding bitcoins, buy looking at the previous trends somehow we can predict the future pumps. Even if we can’t predict we know that the pump after every dump is sure. Holding can create profits far more than trading and needs little hard work.

i think it depends upon the investment. i think the amount of investment decide that whether you hold for a long or short term trading. i actually prefer long term and as compare to short term investment. i think it is better that you point out some ico's who looks good or some coin at low price and then invest in them and then hold them long for the future to earn more profit.
most of the people prefer long term as compare to short term.
