Quite good question. I think I prefer daytading to icos. Over all these days I have lost so much money on bad icos. Meanwhile good day trading can always give you endless profits. That's why I choose it. By the way long term is better.
Well that would be instincts if you'd run trading because being trader must have focus on market and fond ways to have profit. It's too bad to sell if your losing your investment. Also if your a trader just think that always catch for those alt that is active daily so it pumps and dump week or month so you can check for profit.
Therfore joining ICO's is the best to choose as no investment would start just join and follow the rules.

But for me I'd rather go for ICO's then while waiting for the campaign you can have trade also. So that it wont be bored by waiting for the end of ico.

2 things that have advantages and disadvantages between day trading and ico

Similarity of both are buy in the cheap for sell after the price is expensive

And from both have different strategies
for day trading must understand  technical analysis and fundamental analysis, and for ICO must learn more about developer, manager, whitepaper, roadmap, and possible success of planned coin project.

So both need different approaches and different ways of learn
notes that neither of them guarantees that someone will succeed in either or will go bankrupt

Those two things are also make few people who benefit and improve the quality of life

Conclusion I want to convey is how we can time management and learn both strategies to determine what best we join in, not judge which is better and worse
because both have anventage we can take.

Thanks

I like investing in ICO's since I suck at day trading and my nerves can't handle it. But with a market like we have now make sure only invest in qulity ICO's since the chance that you can buy cheaper at exchange is kinda big at the moment.

hi guys what is ico means im newbie and still studying Smiley

ICO is an initial cryptocurrency offering, which is the launch or sale of a new coin or token. sales are not yet on the exchange, but only done on the official website of the token or coin ICO project.
Maybe its like pre-order.

All of the choice are very risky. We have research more than more. If you are looking for icos you have to know team. And we saw many scam ico's.
Daily trade is very difficult. You have to know technical analysis good also you have to follow all the news about crypto and coins. But i think long term invvest is the best choice. And i am choosing ICO's.

In active trading you will be less tied to a separate product/coin than when you enter the ICO. As for me, this is a very significant difference. Smiley

certainly if you have a permanent full-time job it would be better to invest in an ICO, but that is very high risk, since lately these projects are not having much success. and if you want to use day trading as a source of income you should educate yourself more about the subject and make a schedule to work it, because this one needs dedication and concentration

It really depends.
If you are too busy then ICOs. If you have time then Day Trading.
But keep in mind about the market. At the moment, the best thing is to stay away from ICOs.
Like 90% of them are going crazy down, talking about the new ones. But 6-7 months ago, ICOs were a goldmine.
It just depends on several factors man.

Most people can not trade properly. They prefer to find a good project for investment and wait a few months to get a good profit. Everyone chooses his own way. But now there is opportunities to earn only for traders due to the bearish trend.

Combine both is a best. As investor I have more patience because I spent my attention due to research before participation. As day trader I spend a huge time to view TA

If you are good and have plenty of time each day. You should trade every day. Or if you do not have time then you should choose to invest in ICO. Remember to choose good ICO

Now there is lots of scum in ICO, very few are real with the working product. Imho you can combine two this things. Or on the other side, buy tokens of good ICOs that now can be cheaper than on ICO)

The possibility of making a lot of money in one day, via day trading, is alluring to most.  However, if you're working a full-time job (or two) how can you spend time watching the market to know when to buy and sell?  I'm in a few other groups and people are often promoting ICOs as the way to go.  They definitely require less monitoring.  What do y'all think?
Day trading is hard especially if you have a full time job and can't afford to spend a lot of time to monitor the price so icos is the better way to earn profit but only if you invest in great project. The market also is bearish so you can lose a lot if you are not familiar with trading and not experienced enough to handle the emotion. It's good if you are in icos group, especially if the members done a great research for the icos that they are promoting.

Either way both categories have their qualities and defects. In relation to daily trading the great quality is the exponential increase of your money, the defect is that we can spend the day looking for investments and not finding nothing or even lose by the downward flow of the market. Now in relation to ICO its quality is the possibility of participating in a project of success and to obtain future profits, the defect is the possibility of participating in scam.

At the moment, trading or investing in ICOs is risky, the market now is too bad, i see that most of coins is continuity down. While investing in ICOs is also not better. In 2017, we can easy get benefits from investing in ICOs which is listed on exchange sites will increase 2x even 10x in the short time but in 2018, everything are completely reversed, many ICOs have a good project but after it's listed on exchange site the its price go down 1/2 even 1/5 compared to ICO prices. I think the best should not join the market at the time.
Because everyone in demand to sell their coins to follow the trend in the crypto right now. But ico result can't be predicted. i remember there is a recent ico that listed on the exchange site and it has been traded more than 12x from the ico price. But that depends on the how the developers can make more and more people trusted to buy the coin itself to give an early hype to the coin.

I prefer daily trading, because it is faster profitable, if our precise prediction is very profitable, rather than follow the ico that sometimes scam

I'll go with investing to ICO compare to day trade. Trading is very risky, and also ICO. But if you can find the best ICO project it is really worth to invest there compare to day trade which it is also risky. Overall, I'll go with investing in ICO, only legit ICO and have low hardcapped.
You are right I will also favor for the investment in ICO as the income from these ICos are confirmed if first you confirm its legitimacy. Try to invest in ICO for getting a confirmed profit. But you also try to stay alert from scam ICOs and there are a number of people who are saying that they invest in an ICO and they not found any profit. It is because they do not invest in any potential project. Try to invest in any project which is already running and they are starting their ICO i.e the ICO of movieschain or you can also invest in any ICO which will be the ICO of a payment system of potential demand i.e the ICO of cellblocks etc.
