Daytrading is not for newbies. Although potentially it can be more profitable, but I can not say what is better in a particular situation.

The possibility of making a lot of money in one day, via day trading, is alluring to most.  However, if you're working a full-time job (or two) how can you spend time watching the market to know when to buy and sell?  I'm in a few other groups and people are often promoting ICOs as the way to go.  They definitely require less monitoring.  What do y'all think?
if you compare the profits between daily trading with a bounty project that takes weeks, it would seem unfair. trading profits depend on the capital we use, the profits will be determined by how much capital while the bounty program already has a certain bonus allocation that they will give to the participants of course, both have their own shortcomings and advantages

Those who buy and sell goods are always willing to hurt. It is important to set targets in the long term or mid-term.

ICOs are better for the people you spoke of who perhaps have less time to invest and want something a little more passive. For those of us with little commitments we are able to day trade as well as investing in ICOs which is better than doing just one of the two mentioned.
I think both are risky investment but experts only doing day trading so they know the possibilities of crypto market. ICO investment is always risk because any time the project is down in the market. All the platform is depends on the investors so I will supporting to day trading is the best profitable secure platform compared to ICO.

day trades better, if the trader is already experienced in trading. but if you do not have the skills to trade, then better invest in ico and try to participate in whitelist or pre ico, because the average bonus is much more than at ico.

Ico investment like trading entails alot of risk and reward and we should not invest in them without adequate knowledge on how those things works. The trading is good if you have skills and understand on technical analysis indicators and how to interpret those indicators. Ico investment is very risky and you will need to invest in many of them for few to come out successfully.

In trading you can earn 5-15% daily if you will be lucky and have good skills of trading, but when you HODL - you can expect even on 1000%+ (depend on project of course).

a big risk but there is also great results, that you would feel if invest in ICO. not all ICO promises and not a little bit of a scam, it's a concern to always be alert and clever in selecting the ICO. trade is indeed a promising but if market conditions are falling like this time then it will also be a challenge can be overcome.

my opinion for this is I would prefer to invest in ICO because promising big profits on condition we have to really right to choose which ICO will be invested. although now people have begun to lose their faith in ICO but I will continue to try as long as there is potential.

As you have said, it really depends on the individual itself. Both pose very big risk as we all know that you can lose if you have been scam by ICO, but day trading risk is that with so much volatility, you can also lose in a blink of an eye.

They said that you have to do your homework before investing in ICO, but that will also take a lot of time. But for me its better to do day trading, at least you have total control of your money. I mean you can have your entry and exit strategy chances are, you can mitigate your risk. Compare to your money in ICO which you don't control and just hoping that the ICO will not be a scam and it will give big dividends to its investors.

ICO can raise the probability of increasing money with knowledge and can lower the risk.
Read the white paper, see the number of coins issued (If the number of coins issued is too large, the price tends to fall), or see the evaluation with ICOdrops.

On the other hand, day trade requires skillful technique, especially I think it is difficult to win in the cold market.

If you do have a job or having even more then it would really be hard for you to sustain or handle out on doing trading specially on short day trading on where price monitoring would be crucial but come to think off that trading do have 2 different ways either you would go for short term or for long term. You can still do trading while you do have a job but most of the time you are just simply holding off your coins for longer periods.ICO investments can possibly give profits but it wont really be on short time.

Day trading is very difficult especially if you do not know technical analysis. I think anybody who doesn't now ta , he or she will keep away
from day trade. I think research about ico's or long term investment is good.

Quite good question. I think I prefer daytading to icos. Over all these days I have lost so much money on bad icos. Meanwhile good day trading can always give you endless profits. That's why I choose it. By the way long term is better.

For me ICO investment is less risky, than day trading. But better avoid both options now.  In the current conditions, when  market is bearish, the chance to lose money quite high. If you invest in ICO, make deep analyze before, the token doesn't make so easy x5-10 as before.

I think ICO investment is the best but the challenge here is that it is becoming difficult to find good ICOs to invest into because the good projects are now selling out in private sale and pre-sale before the ICO. Day trading is a decent way to make some profit but IMO ICO investing is better than traders

ICO investment is tricky as well, if the market is bearish more likely the coin you purchased in ico will be trading even below ico price when it gets listed, so not only choosing quality project with competent team is important while investing in an ico but overall market sentiment also has its impact.
