Photo of you ID needed to use any of the site's functionality???

What ... the ... fuck ...

I am about ready to give up on this project anyways.  I was expecting more.  I honestly could have put this together in less time by myself.  Well - at least what I can access.   Absolutely no proof of a voting system or backend...

Just some (to be honest) amateur little-functionality frontend stuff.

Yes they are requiring photo identification and other PII information so that they can be in compliance with the SEC and IRS. This is essential for the project to be future proof when government agencies start cracking hard on ICOs. To be in compliance early means that DCORP will survive in the future.

This is correct. It's also the reason why we decided to create 2 tokens.

If our security token (DRPS) gets denied by certain countries, worst case scenario we will still be able to list our utility token (DRPU).

Now is the time all the bankers are coming in with big money into crypto, so it is the right time for DCORP to take a good chunk of the derivatives market share. It's great to see progress here of this kind for fintech in general. I am hopeful that DCORP will bring true democratization of fintech to the masses.

Ok.  That makes sense.

Compliance is better than annoying sites.

Do you know what the third verification is?  I am not going to provide ID so can't get to that screen.

And that is my point. I personally have some experience in this field. If there is a clear
division between the frontend part and the backend functionality, nothing is broken by
switching out the frontend.

In fact, that is how Wordpress works.

Switching from one theme to another on a click of a button, without losing any of the content (backend) or functionality.

Those are not all frontend devs, so that did not answer my question.

There are a lot of fantastic Wordpress and Bootstrap themes on the market
available for next to nothing compared to the amount raised in this Ico.

The real difficult part of the venture capital system will not be the graphical aspects of the front end.  Bootstrap is relatively easy to use and yes there are lots of great templates.

There are a lot more difficult parts such as how to do the voting in a secure and efficient way.

I am also convinced there are a lot of people with the right dev skills in this
community. Why not put out a bounty programme as a competion to people
coming up with alternative frontend solutions on which we all can vote.

That might bring up some nice alternatives.

The most important in the first place is to get a functional platform up and running.
Then I am in favour of starting a competion on frontend alternatives we can vote on.

$1 is not mooning, that is not even getting money back.
Give it some time and let’s see if we are mooning or not!

Who are the frontend devs?

The frontend is the look and feel of any kind of project and a very important
part of the project.

If I were to decide the progression of this project I would have put the frontend
part out as stubs to the community to get vital feedback on what we deliver is what
the community wants. In august there were a voting on two different templates and
one was picked as the way to go forward.

In my opinion that sort of communication should have continued so you guys are delivering
what the comminty wants. Now, we will see both in discussions and in Ico price if this is what we
want or not.

If not, please consider the way forward involving the community in an interactive process to
bring up exactly what we want.

If the community is happy with what we have got so far, then we are already there!

How is the tokenprice reacting to the news?
Are we impressed? The token will moon if we are.

The first step and 5 months work comes to an end?

We are now very anxious to see the result of the 5 months hard work and how that will
move the tokenprice.

Any news about a new webpage? The current one is still the one made for the crowdfund... The only update there is the popup window informing about the tokens being unlocked.
I can't follow telegram actively (too time consuming..), anyone heard anything important there?

tommorow the beta plateform will be up on dcorp website Smiley
Got that email with the announcement too, I'm really exited what they will deliver, just a few hours to go.

I see there is an Alpha going on.

For those of us who are not participating (they reached their limit) are there any screenshots???

I want to see how the VC system is coming along and all we get outside of telegram are these flashy videos (with to be honest poor public speakers who might want to lay off the stims).
You can see our VC platform on our newest video https://youtu.be/OXYo-R3MRl8?t=81

Thanks - I guess a screenshot was buried in there somewhere!  Those videos can be a little painful to watch due to the body langauge and presentation style of whoever that is.  I am already a little annoyed at Dcorp and it just does not help.

Although it would be nice to get a look at the VC platform beyond one screenshot which I honestly could throw together in a couple days and UI design isn't even my main focus.  We want to know we did not make the wrong decision sooner than later as it has been awhile!

Agreed, a video of the Alpha VC Platform would be great, most of us are waiting a long time, please give us something.  Grin
