How do I change a worker password?  I've tried clicking on the worker name and typing a password into the blank "Worker password" field, but my miner program still requires the old password.  I have been unable to change this for over a month.
When you change that password, is it saved and shown in the workers table or not ?
Yes, when I change the worker password, it shows in the new password in the Worker table.  But the old password works and the new one does not.   Before I entered a new password into the Worker table, I think the table showed the password as "Hidden".

I'd like to avoid deleting my worker since it has stats on number of shares and stales.  If it's not possible to change the password on the default worker, I will have to delete it.

Fact is that the table is pretty crammed, and if your email address is relatively long, all other columns are at minimum size already. Therefore if the length of the shares field gets too large, the browser will need to break lines.
This table will be reworked (I hope so).
I'm planning to allow choosing another data to be shown instead of "password" column.

I was thinking about showing only worker's tail, as in mobile version, but this may confuse new users.

Currently the stats for each miner get garbled in the table when hitting triple and quadruple digits.
It obviously only happens when your email address is long enough in the first place.

Yeah, obviously!  Roll Eyes  Note the italic quote [snipped from the original complete quote].  Maybe it happens when your email address is NOT long enough?  I am pretty sure the HTML rendering should take care of that if done correctly [which Tycho usually does].  So, that is why I asked about zoom or PPI, since BOTH can cause rendering issues in the browser.
So can default font and size, a funny font replacement table, a small screen, a bad browser, ...
I just tried zooming, btw, and it turns out it resizes perfectly, without any overflow.

I'm kinda curious what kind of stale percentage marvinmartian has, though, because here I'm sure I wouldn't get a line break before hitting 6-7 digits (the "(stale)" in the header reserves quite a large amount of space).

OK?  I actually had to defend my question to the OP with a clear intent to help.  Have a great rest of the day.
And you missed a pretty obvious question, which I pointed out.
I'm also confused why you see my pointer as an attack?

Whats the status on Email miner failure notifications?

I would like to see this also.  BTCMine has them, but I had more false alarms than actual "miner down" incidents.  Still, I would rather check and then erase the false alarm then not have one at all.  Fortunately, I am able to check from my phone whenever I need too, but notification quickly is ideal; especially if home or near home.

Why is this thread still going? I replied once 100 pages ago and it's plagued my 'new replies' page ever since. If what EVERYONE is talking about is completely still on topic of where it started, by all means ignore this post. Otherwise can we please lock this thread and people can make more pertinent topics to converse about?

/rant.

I agree.  This should be moved to the sub-forum that was setup and allow different threads to appear.  Otherwise, the only option is to unsubscribe and check it manually from time to time.  You are singing to the choir Smiley

Any way we can get the screen width under browser control?  Currently the stats for each miner get garbled in the table when hitting triple and quadruple digits.

Not a deal breaker.  ;-)

I don't see that problem.  Any chance you have your browser set to zoom or PPI changed for your monitor?

Also, what is the "Worker login's tail" field on the miner page?  Salt?  Thanks.
It's the part of worker's name (login) after the "_" separator.

Are you using the default worker setup when you opened your account?  If so, the the password is your login password for the site and you don't want that.  I would create a new worker with a throw away password and then delete the original worker.  Then, since you have been using it with the password being sent in the clear, consider changing the account password for logging into the deepbit site.

I am assuming of course that you have one miner and it is the one created when you opened the account.  When I click my miners, the password shows and the textbox is not blank [it would be for your initial worker as I mentioned].

I hope that helps.
