It would be great for estimating hash rate, or general performance of each worker.
Mostly I want this so I have more information than, "no shares for 30min" when it turns red.
Thanks for your suggestion.
Will it be enough to show "Average hashrate since last counters reset to this moment", or you need to see it rolling constantly ?

Also you can change 30 minutes failure threshold individually for each worker.

New suggestion Tycho!
Can we get a Number of shares in the last hour or next to total shares for our workers?

True stats:
Average shares per block during last 24 hours: 501636, pool luck is 13.1% better than normal.

You know, because of all the hysteria with deepbit perhaps having more than 50% and with Tycho being the spawn of the devil and all that, I've tried to switch to a bunch of other pools. But you know what? None are as reliable as deepbit; deepbit's fee may be slightly higher but the fact that it's got a very high uptime and is run by someone competent nulls that fee out, and I keep coming back to deepbit because, damn, it offers the best service.

So thanks, Tycho! Smiley

There are less blocks, but also less people to split it with. As long as the fee rate is lower (or zero) than Deepbit, you will always make more money long-term.
...unless some of them become invalid (depends on percentage).

i moved to bitcoins.lc for about 28h and made only 0.07 BTC. now i was running deepbit again over night and i made 0.2 BTC. so i came back.

Your sample size is too small. A smaller pool will generate less BTC, but there also will be less people to share it with, so a greater individual share. No pool has a larger per-user reward than the rest. You need to give it more than a day (at least a week) to see how it averages out. Unless the fee rate is higher or the owner is cheating, you'll make the exact same amount over time as you would with Deepbit or any other legitimate pool. The only way you can boost your personal earnings is to throw more computing power into the pool.

It's bad when deepbit is close to 50%. Even close to 40% is bad thing.
Switched to another pool despite I'm loving deepbit.
Lemme know how that goes, I wanna jump off into BTCmine, However since thier so small i would expect to get paid far less since the pool grabs less blocks.

I joined this pool about 1 week ago and was mining with two 4850 cards and just upgraded to two 5830 cards. Now that I have these newer cards all my blocks are slowly but surely being rejected. I was going to use poclbm miner but it dosent work with with bitcoin 0.3.22 for mining locally so I decided to stick with DiabloMiner for now. I am really new to mining so will it effect me if I don't have local mining or should I just stick with DiabloMiner till the problem with local mining is fixed?

@Tycho I know you are making some good money (Hey you deserve it, deepbit is the only place I'll ever mine), but have you considered having it hosted on some of the cloud providers, ie amazon. I know they are very resilient against attacks, it might make your life easier :)
You can't just take a pool and host it like a plain website.
There are no problems with attacks currently. I'm working on distributing the load across multiple servers.

I see a lot of griping about Deepbit's size, but I can't help but think that pools are a business.  He does well, then he does well by his customers.  He's driving some fierce competition, too, which is a very good thing for Bitcoin.

Probably another DDoS, probably from users who wish to cut Deepbit down to size.

The irony here is that every outage leads to bonus fee reduction.  Low % PPS at Deepbit is pretty much impossible to beat atm.
