What the hell is going on, I've been having tons, tons of "Warning, work queue empty, miner is idle" (I use phoenix). It wasn't like that before. Can there be any reasonable explanation to this?

Are we having bad luck today?
Only getting about 70% of my projected 24 hour earnings.

The entire network once waited about 6 hours. Doesn't seem abnormal to me.

One block solved in 2 hours, 15 mins?  Could be just bad luck, but it seems a bit suspect.

Hey all, I'm trying to go from the enthusiastic amateur who downloaded the client and got bored with it last December (ugh!) to pro miner as quickly as I can.  To that end, noticing that deepbit.net is sadly lacking in an FAQ and that the same questions were coming up over and over in this thread I have just finished slogging through all 129 pages to assemble the useful bits into one place.  I have learned quite a bit, and have slapped it together quickly into a public google doc, editable by all.

At least I think it is, if I screwed up the permissions let me know.

Anyway, I hope this is useful and that people add to it, change it up, correct any mistakes I've made, and generally keeps the awesome flowing.  In cases where Tycho replied to a question directly, I have used his answers.  For other stuff I went with who seemed right and got thanked for helping.  I've also tried a bit to un-mangle broken English where it came up.  All mistakes are either mine for mistyping or for believing the wrong answer.

Also, about halfway through it occurred to me that it would be nice to see some recognition for the names I was starting to recognize as being particularly helpful but I was way too far in to go back, apologies to you folks, you know who you are.

I just registered an account and I have no workers. I did confirm my email but when I go to add a worker, it gives me Access denied. Is there a bug in the registration or worker creation system?

I'm checking the balance updates now.
If there is some problem, i'll find it.
