Now got 2 unconfirmed transactions, and seriously thinking of going 'post-Btc' -- all alts.

UNo is EMu friendly;
Uno Chick is UNO friendly Smiley

spirit animal has been tortoise ... but a bird that returns to old time friends after 5 years absence, perhaps a fortunate sign from el UNOverse.

Auspicious?

A fine dark feisty young-adult emu walked right up to me in the houe-clearing here two days ago. I was amazed.

It's Uno Chick, back after a 5-seasons absence:

Is the emu a good emblem for Unobtanium? Here's a hint: the picture below shows Uno Chick's grandma and grandpa about 25,000 years before the first coin was made.

It's mid-arvo. [Music: 'High-Price Woman'] I've had a transaction (to get some XMR) at '0/2' confirmations for about 3 hours. So:

Mauve Alert:

no one can pretend that day-traders shift coin on-and-off exchanges every day as a security protocol. Check the chart above: two of the biggest spikes ever have been in the last fortnight.

And our discussions have returned again and again to How Many $B Will Choke Bitcoin? (and then how will capital flow unto other alts?)

And the D L Ex is open. We can arrange trades here in any combination that we want. Guys, our time has come.

Have increased our trading on Bittrex.

Just two days ago . . . CNN noted* that the Venezuelan bolivar was touching on 3,500 to the dollar. Now, just 48 hrs later. (gotta confirm this ZH report today) it's blasted to over 4,600: http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-12-01/one-scary-chart-venezuelas-currency-disintegrates

$UNO

runs about $4/day

**it is a bank ... or better yet ... it is a near instant transnational credit union (paying gains per share) ... that has  $4/day cost of operation**

Sent this PM out today:

'Ian and [Sabretooth] and I have been working hard on the arithmetic of what you spoke of in the ann thread: the growing likelihood of shitloads of capital -- easily tens and tens of billions -- flowing into cryptos. I look forward in the next year or so to a patient discussion of how to make Uno bloat-proof. Some 2.0s are tackling this technically. We guess we'd do it via community programmes.*

We reckon Bitcoin would 'choke' at about 40 $B. One B for Uno would be a 3,000 times increase in its cap. That much increase would put us at risk of falling into the same predicament as Bitcoin.

These ideas -- Hedges was a trial -- have been on our list for a long time 'cause The Arithmetic of Fabulous Success has indicated this reality all along. As we've always argued, a genuine community commitment to development would ultimately result in a hundred times the profit of the present models.

Mark

*First and easy: 'C-Uno': over on the D L Ex, we should be developing a culture of trading Uno in lots of 100: the 'Centi-Uno': 'C-Uno.' '

“I think that the elites have lived too long among themselves. We are in a world where globalization, which is an ideology, has forgotten, and put aside the people, the people’s interests, aspirations, and dreams,” National Front party leader and French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen told CNBC following Trump’s election victory.

“They have acted like carnivores, who used the world to enrich only themselves, and whether it’s the election of Donald Trump, or Brexit, the elites have realized that the people have stopped listening to them, that the people want to determine their futures and in a perfectly democratic framework, regain control of their destiny. And that panics them, because they are losing the power that they had given themselves,” Le Pen

...  the result might be a world awash in unprecedented amounts of liquidity. If that’s not paradise for precious metals then it’s hard to imagine what would be.

'I think that the elites have lived too long among themselves.'

A notably similar point came up some time ago, B.N., in respect of Merkel's decision to accept X number of migrants:

(whatever your particular stance is) Merkel lives in a cocoon of wealth and security. Her decision was, so to speak, 'philosophical.' Thus she can't understand how a displaced day-labourer might feel about All This.
