Just how much did dank donate?  He is going to take credit.   Undecided

I cured cancer in one dog, not all dogs.  And how is buddy doing?  That may make it two dogs I've helped.

Dank donated nothing here!

Sent Bob and maidak a copy of the final Bill which was $1332.89   Still can't thank the donors enough for helping Richy!

Maidak the vets should be contacting you regarding totals and what you wanted to do with the balance.   If no one objects to this there is another Dog at the north adams office with a torn acu or acl and the owner was having a hard time with surgery like i posted before.   But if you guys have a better plan it's up to you.

Thanks guys will try to get better pics and keep everyone updated.

I think the right thing to do here is get maidak back his $200 first... I think whatever is left should be donated to the other dog.. it wont be much but its a start.

Richy is home in a little pain but snacking on some cheese Tongue  you can see how saggy his chin is now.

I'll try to get a clearer shot when he asleep lol.

Oh wow, he looks soooooooo much better. I'm truly touched and proud of being able to be a part of this.

The vet just called and richy is awake and doing great. We can bring him home at 5. They removed his right salivary gland and drained the fluid. He has stitches in his neck and swelling will be an issue to watch for.  Because Richy had this condition for a while the skin on his neck will be saggy/flabby and may not return to normal because it has been stretched.  the next few weeks will tell if this is the case or not.  I will let you know later when i bring him home how he is doing.

Smiley

This is great news, and don't worry about the extra skin around the neck.. it will give him character.

Please post pics at some point as im sure were all wondering how he looks now!

Peter, Micheal, you guys down for the cause?

sorry I'm putting my charitable time elsewhere, but this thread made me smile Smiley

Thats cool man, keep the love flowing, as long as it helps someone.

So great!  We adopted an Italian Greyhound mix from a shelter last year.  They did not tell us that the mix was a pit-bull though. Wink  My husband likes to joke that our dog can run 50 miles an hour before he bites your leg. He is pretty sweet, very warm at night, and a great guard dog.  A little too much so because he really does not like my father-in-law too much.  Of course my father-in-law is the epitome of a "grumpy old man" so I guess I can't blame him too much.

Hopefully Richy's surgery goes well.  Vet bills are so expensive and I am glad there were some kind hearts on here willing to help out!
