When you are finding gambling as your stress buster, I believe there would be nothing wrong in going for it among many losses. But this will not be the case for most of the gamblers, they are getting their stress only from the gambling because they are going for it to make profits but finding only losses and then mental tensions.

When gambling will be giving you positive energy, I believe you should continue it by affording some money to do it even you are not getting any financial benefits.

You are treating gambling right in my opinion and you will never regret doing it if you continue this way. That's one of the legit answers to OP's question and agree with you because I do the same.

Yes we lose small amounts to gambling but having so much fun with it we continue to do it nevertheless.

Well, then you're lucky.

People with compulsive gambling disorder cannot control themselves at all and they are the sort of people that are most vulnerable to gambling activities.

Also children who started gambling young, they are very likely to become compulsive gamblers as well.

I think that the thing is, when you gamble you are so emotionally devoted that you can't pull yourself out of the hole that you dig for yourself. And that's crazy. You just can't stop even if you know you're going to lose. If you lose a small amount each day, that's still a problem. You're wasting your time, and trust me, your productivity goes wayyyy down in the day.

That's what I was trying to point out a couple of times earlier somewhere in /gambling.
We're all addicted to things, either coffee, facebook, laptops or drugs.
It just matters if your addiction is harmful to you, if it's not, you're okay.
If you can control yourself, that's the most important thing.

Gambling addiction was never about money, it is deep psychological problem which only happens to have economic consequences, if your urges can't be controlled.
You said that you are happy while knowing that you are an addict. I find it very disturbing. Excessive gambling or any kind of addiction is a destructive force.
So either you think you are addicted but in reality you're not, or you play with fire and you could.

But the problem lies is that in gambling we also know the obvious. It is obvious that if we all know that we are not going to win always but we continue to play. And worst, we became addicted because of our greed.
