No, the storm is not at its start, but at the end. The big problem is that virtacoin is not present on mining pools platforms. There is only one at this moment as I know: Prohashing. We need to campaign for virtacoin to be accepted on as many scrypt pools. If 3-4 more mining pools will appear accepting virtacoin, the problem is solved, meaning the network will run correctly. (Bleutrade could reconsider accepting vta on his exchange platform again in the future)

Oh boy, its all big problems here and now. This is starting to look like a shitstorm.

Today I was unable to find virtacoin in the list of cryptocurrencies listed by Bleutrade exchange platform.
If you tried to withdraw your vta funds in the past and you haven't received your withdrawals, here is a short dialog I have had with Bleutrade admins (I tried reindexing the blockchain first, but didn't solved the problem):

Me: - My last 15 virtacoin withdrawals attached in the picture, not processed yet. Any idea?
Me: - I have attached 2 more files, maybe they can help you: 1) A picture of my desktop wallet (VirtaCoin Core), showing January transactions; 2) Exported data for January transactions (my VirtaCoin Core Wallet)
Bleutrade: - Dear user, unfortunately virtacoin is in collapse due to network attacks. Bleutrade sent yours transactions correctly, but due to this problems the transactions are canceled in the future even after dozens of confirmations. We must wait indefinitely until the network stabilizes again. Best regards, Bleutrade Team.
Me: - Ok, but still don't understand where are my coins? You canceled my withdrawals and you'll send my coins again when the network is more secure? Or you already sent them and they are lost? Please clarify. I need to know where are my vta coins right now. I mean, they are not in my vta core wallet (shows 'conflicted') and they are not in my Bleutrade account neither. So, where are they?
Me: - I just don't get it. I started the withdrawals from Bleutrade platform 10 days ago and today they are not in my pocket and not in my Bleutrade account neither. There are a lot of money involved. By comparison, I started the same withdrawal from another exchange platform and my coins arrived in my wallet long time ago. Would you please clarify that?

Me: - Dear Admin, given the tickets #4681 and #4722 opened by me, including my documented fears regarding my virtacoin withdrawals, I wish (when you have time) to detail the possibility of canceling a transaction that has already reached blockchain. How is this possible? I did research on google and have not found any reviews stating that a transaction can be canceled once it is launched and reached the block chain and that is irreversible. Is the "reversed transactions" phenomenon due to 51% Attack meaning that they return back to sender? I am not tech and much of our community are not, so I spoke in the name of them too. I also kindly invite you to make a statement, which I will publish in our community circles, in order to dispel fears about the possibility that lately massive vta "conflicted" withdrawals to be lost. Bleutrade: - Dear user, Bleutrade has not canceled any transactions, this is technically impossible. However, through a 51% attack it is possible to replace blocks of a blockchain with other blocks. If the network accepts other empty blocks, then the transactions do not exist, that is, they continue at the origin, it is what we call reversed transactions. I have 15 'conflicted' transactions into my desktop wallet right now. What will happen with my vta amounts which I tried to withdraw from Bleutrade? You said you will resubmit them to me. Doesn't it means they are on empty blocks?
Bleutrade: - Empty blocks do not mean loss of coins, they mean loss of transactions. The transactions can be resubmitted without problems, but there will always be a risk of the transaction disappearing again, this should never occur, so that security is maintained, a reasonable amount of miners are necessary in the network and an update in the system to solve this bug.

It's rare but happens from time to time and does not depend on exchange software. Reason could be a different kind of temporary failure of blockchain network like forks or connection issues. *Note: I have had a withdrawal from c-cex marked as 'conflicted' on my VirtaCoin Core Wallet since December 24, 2016. My vta's are back to my c-cex balance now.


I hope the dialogues above (during several days) will help many people to understand why their transactions from Bleutrade are 'conflicted' right now. Do not bomb Bleutrade platform with tickets, wait for the right time to come, they will resubmit your transactions again when the network is more secured.

I just hope that words like "lost" or "stolen" will not appear in your posts again.

So what is everyone supposed to do til then?

Notice:   Virtacoin is currently experiencing technical difficulties related to the blockchain that processes transactions. 

At this time it is not recommended that Virtacoin transactions be initiated.  There is a large project under development that will alleviate this situation within the month of February.

what happened, how did you lose you vta? I am running the wallet and have had no issues.

Virtacoin year is 2017 but with the current price ,i hope people see virtacoin as alternative for bitcoin hahaha,hope for the best for our coin will hit from 1 sat to high one .

Virta is good, being around for quite a long period of time, it endured the pressure and never get down, it's still alive and kicking but unfortunately, only few traders love a low-priced coin, specially those 1-2 sats price coin.
some traders are measuring their coin by the price and sad to say, the bottom price which is 1 or two satoshis, if a coin reached that price, the tendency of a trader is to move away from that coin.

How is your virtacoin stolen ? I also have nearly 2 mil VTA coins on C-CEX exchange so I doubt if my coins are safe on the C-CEX exchange now?
I'm very worried about this issue.

Don't worry okay ,I have the faith that technical people will teach us how to restore the funds from your wallet okay but please don't do not do anything to your wallet now leave.I hope there will be way out okay .Me my self also have the same problem here since there is attack on virtacoin net work let hope for the your wallet is safe and one the best core wallet so far okay. I have lost many VTA coins in my private virtacoin core wallet and I can not do anything to cover my lost coins so now I never buy this coin because the wallet is very very unsafe.I do not know who has stolen my coin in virtacoin core wallet.  it's really dangerous .

Its not as sloppy as I thought, but here is an important note. The whois lookup for that site signals that the domain name is masked by an unknown technology, which, I suppose, has extraterrestrial roots. I have done 6K passes of my proprietary python script on it, and got shocking results. The outcome of this operation appalled me more than my underarm hair. What I have found will be revealed in the second part of my post.
