Like most in this community, neither I would have never thought this coin can fall so low. Why? Because being a newbie, I didn't know what obstacles might arise in its way. If I knew, maybe I would have been more cautious.
For a specialist, there is no surprise. In the crypto world, there may be a multitude of undesirable events that can harm or help a currency. For a newbie, it's the apocalypse, because he doesn't know what to expect, he trusted and invested, and when a syncope occurs, he's deeply disappointed.
Why bitcoin has become increasingly brighter? Because most experts turned their attention to it, all bright-minds were attracted to its potential. The difference between bitcoin and virtacoin is not on the quality of the concept, but the quality of the people involved. I watched the bitcoin forums lately and I see a huge difference, they speaks a different language, language of specialists, for each of them anything other than bitcoin does not exist and is called shitcoin. They are talking about mining activity, codes, softwares, while virtacoiners are sitting and waiting...
When some of them will turn their attention to virtacoin, only then virtacoin will prosper. Until then, the apocalypse, because most of you are newbies and worry about anything. Everyone here expects someone to do something, but nobody tries to do it. Why? Simple, most of you are newbies and don't know what to do, there is a will, but there is no possibilities. Virtacoin doesn't have a coordinating council, a solid group of experts to lead a team, everything is based solely on the ability of individual persons to do something.
In fact, sometimes I wonder if there is at least a will...
For bitcoin was easy, because there was no such a concept on the market, now the market is full and is very hard to impose.
My advice is this: no longer complain of amounts you feel that you no longer own. Nobody will steal a penny! If you're able of patience and hope - it's okay, if you're not... think that the apocalypse has come.

You say it has a bright future??? Oh, yes, The bright future is that all investors will lose their money and No one can sell or withdraw on the C-CEX.
I have never seen this problem before . Just wait and see how far this coin goes???

I really do not understand this coin was born for what? it seems only pumps and dumps . They did not do anything for this coin and Maybe all investors buying this coin on C-CEX exchange will not sell or withdraw it? That is ridiculous coin and this coin will not get the future anymore.

It's really dead. Some people are trying to promote VTA to sell VTA for newbies. DEV did not have any plans to correct the network.
This coin has many problems happened. There are many investors lost in this case.

 My virtacoin is there, but not on top of site  and not there when i search for Virtacoin. Anybody know what is happenning. There is no way to buy or sell that I can see.

Wow but hope they will slove it because I lot people keep their coins at c-cex  there when the vta net work attack by 51% .

They say "Blockchain broken.".

I guess it has to do with the insanely low 8 block to maturity. At 60s blocktime this just asks for unintentional doublespends when short forks happen.

Do we  know that champions are product of challenges.? we believed in virtacoin. we work for the good of virtacoin, we settled with virtacoin. VirtaMeetin Nigeria appreciates the tireless effort of our great community. VIrtacoin project part 2 shall be a game changer if we are done. We hope to be live this week but because of the main developer was ill and was hospitalize, but our joy is that he is back and we hope he will work to complete this by this month maximum.
For now all issues on our old virtacoinworld are fully resolve and some pages that is not necessary needed are remove.

For me the synchronized issue is worrying me too but the upgrade something is going on hope they will soon finish it .

I have no working desktop wallet.
 I have tried everything I know of to get it working. It is 73 weeks out of sinc.

 I have put in some nodes and it takes them and others it does not. I have deleted the total wallet from my computer and downloaded a new one [ I thought] only to get the old one back. Is there a way to get a brand new desktop wallet and start from scratch.

Or maybe someone hear knows how to restart the desktop wallet i have. I am useing the online wallet and never had a problem with it.
 The reason I would like to get my desktop wallet working is that i would like to mine with it.
It was working back in 2014.

Any help would be appreciated.

The massive sell wall at 2 satoshi is slowly being bought up.  Someone has obviously given up hope and is dumping a lot of coins cheap.  Once we are through that sell wall I think there is reason to be very optimistic but after all of the issues with bleutrade a lot of people decided to dump.

I think Able or John or somebody that is maybe working on promoting Virtacoin in some way in the next weeks need to step up to the plate to day and give us a heads up to what is comming down the pipeline in reguards to what it is that they are going to do to promote Virtacoin. That way we may be able to pitch in.

 That way we will get inspired to carry on and try to find ways to get more involved ourselves. At this moment ( today) I see no rainbow on the horizon to pick up my spirits.

 I think a lot of us feel the same way.

 The Founderfund is going empty fast. Can't put Virtacoin in Kiva fund. We lost bleutrade exchange. Virtacoin is worth VTA (VTA) 0.00000001 BTC what's to be excited about?

 Last Sept 30 when Virtacoin was 25 Sotschi's there was loads of excitetement. Where do we go from here? That is the question us untechnical and newbies are desperately needing answers too. Are they going to be beta testing anything that we can get involved in.

 Are there investments we could make (Virtacoin, Money) to help with projects.

I have done my share of mining but when mining only gives you, say 1000000 Virtacoin or less for $100 usd. and I can buy 9000000 Virtacoin on c-cex for $100 usd, it's a no brainer. Let's see if today we can pick our spirits up.

Is Virtacoin doomed. Need Inspiration fast. Moral very very low.
