 I have so many receiving transactions with Status: conflicted . And it is for longer than 10 days. How do You think, will i get these transaction confirmed and receive it to my wallet or should i think that all these Virtacoins are lost? Maybe someone have some ideas about that?

I'm not here to argue skeptical people, I'm here to deliver information. It would be logical for people to be informed and do a bit of research work before their comments. Unfortunately, many don't.

Hi people! A few words to explain you why mining is important for any coin (obviously for VTA too) In a 2nd post I'll try to teach you how and where to mine...

1) We need a fast network: One of the most valuable things of a cryptocoin is that transfers/transactions are much faster (minutes) for example than a bank transfer (1 or 2 days). We must act to keep fast VTA transactions, at this moment there are several pending wtihdraws, etc, it's not very attractive to people waiting and waiting for his coins. So, where are the transactions?? Answer: VTA regularly generates blocks. inside these blocks we found the transactions. If no one mine that block transactions will not appear in our wallets.

2) A strong network: It's a very important thing that mining work don't be concentrated in a few big miners because they can control VTA prices, liquidity, etc. So we need to be a lot of miners mining together to fight/prevent the 51% attacks etc

Someone (ore more than one) is mining with a big rig with a hashrate of 1 Ghash (cryptoid info) or 15 Ghash (p2pool info). I don't know which of these two numbers are the correct. Let's figure out the worst scenario: 15 Ghash... We need to reach at least the same Ghash. Family: it's a very big rig: what can we do??

1 Mhash=1000000 hash 1 Khash= 1000 hash

A single miner with a pc has a 100000 hash (aprox) so we'll need 10000 pc connected at the same time: whoa!! It's a big number of users but if we want to see VTA like a success must happen

Let's do a little maths: renting a 1 Ghash rig costs 0,091 btc per day, so one month is about 2,73 btc. One person can't afford these numbers but the community can distribute this effort. Everyone must know how can contribute (pc, renting, etc)

Things to do 1) The pool Go to https://prohashing.com/ and register. Then log in and add Virtacoin with the add new coin button, adjust the percentages between VTA and BTC. You will see a box for VTA wallet for withdraws. Save percentages and wallets.

2) Mining with a rented rig Go to www.miningrentals.com and register and login. At the top of the page will see btc sign: here you must deposit your btc to rent the rigs. Once you have money in your balance go to Rigs menu and select SCRYPT rigs Here select the rig you want to rent. Inside the rig you will see a box with the hours to rent and the price of them; if it's ok press rent now! button and setup the worker:

press add pool blue button and fill the boxes with this information Host: stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333 username: your username in prohashing pasword: 'c=virtacoin m=solo' (this allows the miner to mine only VTA) Save changes and press the pay now button. Miner is working in a few secs or mins. Then you can login to prohashing to view the progress

3) Mining with your pc For this part i need more time to prepare it properly, there are many different software, etc.

Just a few more words about Mining for newbies (as I am too , but I am continually updating my knowledge every day)
1) Mining is less profitable than buying coins. So if you want to gain the maximum VTAs... go to the markets and buy as you can afford;
2) The amount of VTAs we will gain by mining, depends on the network and the rig we can rent (the bigger is the better but... expensive);
3) Mining is necessary for any coin's life: with no mining process, we can't do fast transactions etc. So Mining is a contribution to the network (and this effort is rewarded by VTAs)

And don't look at the prices, in crypto world there are usually ups and downs. Specifically to VirtaCoin is the fact that there is no financially potent individual or group of individuals to pump it, dump it or mine it, as other coins have. VirtaCoin is supported by simple people, like me and others. That's one reason I am deeply in love with it. The lately fall down was due to this too, inexperienced people who panicked.
VirtaCoin is the 2nd best virtual currency after bitcoin in terms of quality and it is deeply undervalued, unfortunately. But sunny days will come up soon, I have no doubts... As far as I am concerned, I will keep the flag up proudly!

Will @Oscar be posting proof of what is paid to rent mining rigs? If the community gives him money for rentals he could skim some off the top for himself unless he proves what he has spent the money on.

For short, we intend to rent rigs in organized manner. A trusted guy will do it for us. Somehow, it's a win-win situation, we pay to rent mining rigs and we get virtacoins in exchange. The guy is @Oscar and he will try to balance the network... He will handle all about it - how much to invest daily, daily hash power and so on. You will receive your virtacoins into your vta addresses delivered, but not regularly, it depends on Oscar's decisions about how to invest daily in order to keep the network balanced.

UPDATE: Joyfully announce that the details have been set. Anyone can join and together to face the assault of our network. We now have four miners that actually working and are waiting to join another 3 in the near future.
