Well, I must agree that this is true and it is the first time I tought about it.
Maybe then it is better idea to do just first stage with BTC.
But generally: all this changing in plans and different opinions are creating a total mess. My opinion means nothing more but the opinion than anyone here so I believe it would be best for devs to create a poll and to ask the community for the IPO structure. Yes, this is still their coin, however, if you act blindly against the community and you are refusing to communicate with it (not saying that this is the case here, but trying to prevent it), like the GPUcoin SEO did, once the community is not interested anymore in the coin the devs will also stay with empty hands as their coin needs the public support to be live.
Let's stop all negative energy and just put all into argumented criticzm, talk and discuss like a community and get things running well. I am still sure this coin has a potential for bright future, however, we need to work together to turn it into reality.
I agree, there is too much negative energy. The issue is people can't (myself included) voice criticisms without being kind of attacked by others in the community.
Those of you who have been here from the beginning have known I have been a huge Pawncoin proponent from the beginning, but now that I am bringing up fair and valid points (and even in a professional way) suddenly we are "trolling" the devs? This may not have been directed at me specifically but nonetheless I have seen very few critiques that weren't well-thought out, and they still get the troll treatment.
To have a successful coin you need both sides of the equation - criticism only helps to IMPROVE services and quality, not detract from it. If a criticism causes the price of the coin to drop, well all that means is that that criticism is based in truth and needs to be addressed.
