Hmmmm for me this is wrong. The trend will not trigger the exchange site to delist anything from the exchange site. I would like to see that if what's gonna happening with the meme token once market will be on the bearish market but so far im not sure if market will be forcing exchange site to delist the meme token. So far major exchange site like binance was only listing two meme tokens. Shiba and doge coin. How can exchange site delist the tokens that they didn't even list it? that sounds a non sense thing for sure.

Be prepared.

This is a warning to all of you running after meme coins, even if they get listed on top exchanges it doesn't mean they will survive for long, or have you forgotten that many projects got delisted from exchanges after the ICO craze of 2017? The same thing will happen once a tough bear market starts, so many meme coins won't be able to cope with the situation and many exchanges will be forced to delist the tokens.

As far as my understanding is correct, regardless if it's a meme coin or not, the main reason why a coin or token will be delisted is, if it will establish a low volume for a given period of time or if those are 100% proven to be scams.

If you are referring to the existence of SHIBA or DOGE since you mentioned being listed at top exchanges, I doubt they will be delisted right away without a good cause. But for other considered meme coins, there's no need for a bear market for them to be delisted.

In the very first place, why trade underperforming coins? There are lots of worthy out there and you just need to DYOR.

That certainly happen again and it was found to be useful knowing that many people had fallen into the wrong investment, into shitcoins/meme coins for this way, we can minimize the risk and chances of investing them. This has been done before, yet to expect again in order to help the market even good and promising, not a place to lose our money.

NFTs and metaverses projects, well, there are a lot of them. This should be taken and continuously be done yearly if possible.

Its the basic or typical thing to happen because whether its a meme coin or not as long a certain coin doesnt really get that volume or liquidity then its normal for exchangers to free up some space.

This isnt something surprising but for noobs then you should be aware for this one but somehow if a coins get delisted then you would get some warnings or announcement from platforms.
So that you could able to pull it off and put it on to your non custodial wallet.

If those coins arent able to trade on anywhere else then expect t hat it would die later on. hehehe

this is what i am thinking with shib being listed in binance. yes, they have good volume today but up until when these traders will support this meme token? they can easily be forgotten once meme hype exit this game. but i do agree, at least what the exchange can do is give a heads up that a specific coin or token will be delisted. delisting is always part of the process to remove inactive or dying coins, and that's pretty basic for exchanges. you don't want to spend resources for something not worthwhile.

Bitcoin is GOD
this is one of the facts that will happen when a bear market starts. all exchanges will be forced to delisting unprofitable tokens/coins. so we have to be prepared for this, and start looking back at our current portfolio, we have to exclude meme coins, coins that have a marketcap below 10 million, or coins from new projects. Don't let us lose like in the past because we hold coins like that.
Unfortunately by the time most people begin to think about doing something like this it is too late, and the reason for this is that people have the tendency to hold bad assets for too long as they are hoping that they will recover and those assets will give to them the profits they were looking for.

When they finally accept this is never going to happen the rest of the market participants already sold, so they have to sell their coins at prices that are close to the bottom of the movement. Which is a shame as such a personal tragedy for them could have been easily avoided if they had jut invested in bitcoin and held their coins, instead of taking such a senseless risk.

In my opinion delisting is a bad effect for a project beacuse investors or holders will get loss for it. If top exchange doing delisting a coin then holder can sold their token low price and many holders want leave quickly. In fact, top exchanges reject a token only when the volume and price of that token are greatly reduce. Besides it is thought that the development work of the project is not so much that the investors want to come out as soon as possible.
the impact is visible in the price of tokens or coins being delisted from the exchange. but usually, this situation occurs when the coins or tokens are no longer making good progress on the exchange. they are not that much in demand with very low trading volumes.
and usually, the information is also long enough before the asset becomes completely non-tradable. so the owner of the asset can also withdraw or immediately sell it even at a very cheap price.

Meme tokens generally belong to the category of high-risk assets, so if you buy such an asset, you need to constantly monitor the market in order to sell these tokens as profitable as possible. These tokens are not from the category: you buy them, put them in storage, and then sell them some time later. By the time you remember them, they may have already depreciated a lot. Even meme tokens like SHIBA and DOGE have lost a very large part of their value lately, even though those tokens have strong community support and many exchanges support those assets in their listing lists. And about unknown meme tokens I can say that they will be forgotten about very quickly.

The delisting of tokens don't just happen to meme tokens, it happens to all the other projects which doesn't have future.. everyday tokens are being delisted on probit exchange and Bitforex.. those things happens to some projects which are over hyped and now they don't have any working products to offer.

I mean these people investing in meme coins could be planning to dump it all to bring down the price. It is like a manipulative way to earn their bucks.
We'll see what will happen if it gets delisted, but surely crypto meme-rs won't let that happen easily. Coins like Doge and Shib are too "trendy" to get delisted that easily.
Many meme coins have been listed due to manipulatives to increase price and trading volume so that their proposals for listing on low-rated exchanges are accepted, so the potential for meme coins cannot be analyzed and not traded because they are only temporary increases before falling into dust.

but few months after listing exchange market announce for delisting my altcoin holder and price drastically drop before gone from exchange market until become scam coin, better if you hold with altcoin potential for delisting better sell it before without have values after effective delist on exchange market.
All altcoins that do not meet the criteria for trading may have the potential for delisting, especially new altcoins because they are listed based on community support because the project was promoted by hype news. It is therefore necessary to avoid choosing a new altcoin because there is no guarantee that it can be developed if the market conditions are worst, because the new altcoin will not survive in bear market conditions, causing loss of daily trading volume until it is delisted to be kicked out.

sooner or later some of those meme-tokens will get delisted again on those big exchanges and maye also on smaller exchanges again. A few months ago when the shit-coin hype was on it's peak even the biggest exchanges like Binance and Coinbase added meme-tokens to their trading portfolio. Of course this did not happen because those exchanges were thinking that this are projects with great fundamentals and functionality. They added them because those tokens had crazy high trading volume back then and of course the primary goal of exchanges is to make money with trading fees and the more volume the more fees you get. Now that the hype is dying the volume will go down to and sooner or later the first shit tokens will get delisted again.
It is 100% guaranteed that they will be delisted eventually. I do not think that it will reach to a point where dogecoin will get delisted, even before the whole Elon musk thing, even when we are talking about years and years ago, doge was always listed everywhere because it is a popular coin and even though it wasn't a profitable one, it was always used for something, mainly for donations.

This is why I believe that dogecoin will be listed in Binance no matter what happens. But, all these shiba, baby, floki whatever will be delisted one day, maybe not this year but eventually it will happen in a few years at max. That is when people will understand why memecoins are bad.

Delisting is bad moment for investor or altcoin holder because when announcement about delisting price drastically drop and I was frustrated ever on this position, received several coin on bounties campaign have listed on bigger exchange market and looks potential can reach higher price so keep hold it, but few months after listing exchange market announce for delisting my altcoin holder and price drastically drop before gone from exchange market until become scam coin, better if you hold with altcoin potential for delisting better sell it before without have values after effective delist on exchange market.

You have reminded of the past. I have witnessed it severally and for some time now I thought that is history and will not repeat itself again. It is a dreaded moment for token holders. It is painful to watch your tokens become totally worthless once they are delisted, especially if the token is listed on a single exchange. Instantly, it losses value. The fall in price whenever that happened was always sharp. I hope those investing now are taking note of this warning so they don't lose their investments in the future.

Of course, for those who have been in this market already, we all know that delisting is real even for the developers. But there are criteria being set by an exchange, so if the projects didn't follow those rule then definitely they will be delisted as fast as they have been listed. So the rule is that if you are heavily on meme coins then it's better to get profits and reinvest your revenue to solid projects that will last even in this bear market.

I agree that there are a lot of meme coins, and only the best of them will stay afloat, for me there are only two coins at all - these are DOGE, Shiba inu, the rest are just on the wave of hype, and over time many will disappear

Well if the project you are following keeps on making progress and not just like a useless project then you should not be afraid about your coin or token being delisted from that certain exchange. So make sure that you are up to a legit project with real usecase and real team behind. The main reason why most coins are being delisted is because no one really wants to buy that coin anymore, therefore no volume, no benefit for the exchange.

Exchange site will not delist the token based on the trend but it's based on the performance of project. Exchange site needs a good project that can properly develop the product and create more and more innovation. it's not about exchange site to delist any tokens caused by the bearish market. It's not how delisting in the exchange site is working right now. I think that you must need to understand the mechanism that being used by exchange site again.
