The were no objections to the windows bounty doubling:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1776730

the original bounty is at:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1358839

so it is doubled from 6 shares to 12 shares. A 6 share bounty has been sent out to K1773R, so a top up of 6 will be sent. The remaining bounty is 6 shares.

The windows bundle works, the problem is that people are having difficulty installing it and getting it to bootstrap the receiver files. So the remaining windows bounty is now for improved installation and/or bootstrapping, maybe an installer could be made which installs devcoin-qt and devcoind, and makes copies over the receiver files to the correct place or something like that. There's no point in making another windows devcoin exe, since that part already works.

I might give a proper windows installer a shot.
tell me if you do it so i wont waste time Wink up to you for now.

Well, I'll have to reinstall Windows on a junk hard disk first. I found your build to be great. It just isn't quite idiot proof enough for most Windows users. It isn't their fault though, they have just been trained to expect the wrong result since 3.1

There were no objections to the exchange bounty doubling:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1776730

the original bounty is at:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.553722

so it is doubled from 12 shares to 24 shares. Two bounties have been sent out, 12 shares to Kumala and 9 shares to Mark, so a top up of 12 will be sent to Kumala and 6 will be sent to Mark. The remaining secure exchange shares are 12 shares, then finally 6 shares.

The round 22 receiver files have been uploaded to:
http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/receiver_22.csv
https://raw.github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/master/receiver_22.csv
http://devcoinblockexplorer.info/receiver/receiver_22.csv
http://devtome.com/files/receiver_22.csv
http://devcoin.darkgamex.ch/receiver_22.csv

The account file is at:
http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/account_22.csv

There were 125 receiver lines, so the average generation share was worth 180,000,000 dvc / 125 = 1,440,000 dvc. At the current vircurex price of 1.48 mcbtc/dvc, that works out to 1,440,000 dvc * 1.48 mcbtc/dvc = 2.13 btc. At the mtgox price of 93, that works out to 198$.

People on that list will start getting those coins in round 22, starting at block 88,000, around May 1. The procedure for generating the receiver files is at:
http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin#generating_the_files

The next bounties will go into round 23:

Devcoin sounds really interesting so far! I hope it becomes more popular (you guys seem to be doing a great job with that).

I experimented with some images based on bitboy's bitcoin graphics. The text and colour can be easily changed if anyone has suggestions.

Hi Grc,

Thanks for the logo, please post or message me a devcoin address from devcoin on your computer or the devda.ch web wallet, and you'll get 3/5 of a generation share in round 23.

This will also make you eligible to earn devcoins by marketing:

I don't think they are errors, just info blurbs that for some reason are spat out at console instead of to the log. I see them too sometimes. I think it is just saying it found three identical copies of a receivers file, which is good, it should find identical copies as it is going out on the net to get the new ones that didn't come with the package, and needs a majority of them to be identical in order to accept them.

I keep getting these errors when attempting to run devcoind on my ubuntu 12.10 amazon ec2 box.
put the reciever*.csv into ~/.devcoin/receiver/

Quote
I added a random port (rpcport=8999) to my devcoin.conf file because I was getting this error originally (I was running it alongside of bitcoin, I assumed it used the same default port?)
put this into your devcoin.conf and retry, the port may also already be mapped by another software (netstat -n --listening)
Code:
rpcport=6333
port=6334

Quote
And my ./devcoind getinfo command looks like this after a few hours still:
do the things above and this problem will be gone.

Thanks for the help!

I had to mkdir the ~/.devcoin/receiver/ folder because it didn't exist.

I think typed the following code to copy the recevier*.csv files into my newly created receiver folder:
Code:
cp /home/devcoinuser/devcoin/receiver*.csv /home/devcoinuser/.devcoin/receiver

And added the rpcport and port to my devcoin.conf file.

Now upon running ./devcoind I am met with these (errors?):

Where does this agreement take place, here in the thread? Or is there another discussion platform?

Here in the thread.

Is devtome currently the only project, or are there more? If so, where can they be found?

Devtome is the biggest project. Other projects devcoin funds are listed at:
https://raw.github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/master/bitcoinshare.html

Quote
..
It's a pity that devtome has a English-only policy. I understand partially your reasons. But I think when the project grows, it would be good to allow other languages or to set up writing platforms in other languages to make it a more "universal" project.

Sorry for the many questions Wink The reason is that I am really interested in this and perhaps one day I could contribute something. I will definitively keep an eye on it.

If the founders on any of the projects at:
https://raw.github.com/Unthinkingbit/charity/master/bitcoinshare.html

say that you're helping them, you'll go on the list also. An excellent project, which already has many people helping and getting devcoins, is Open Transactions:
