What that means is that if the capitalization (currently about 1.5 million) goes over 100,000$, then we can make bounties for simple extensions, if it goes over 1 million, we can make bounties for small applications and modifications of big applications. From:

In other words, because the market capitalization is now above 1 million, we can now fund simple extensions, small applications, and modifications of big applications. The maximum funding for any of those projects would be 1% of 1.5 million = 15,000$.

I really, really like the concept of DevCoin and I want to give back a little and help spread the word.

Here are some things I am thinking of doing , and I wanted to hear thoughts / suggestions / if it's already being worked on / if anyone wants to help / if I should leave it to you guys:

- An online forum devoted to DevCoin on a separate domain.
- Another website as well as the wiki which explains DevCoin? It is a bit thin on search results when DevCoin is googled.
- Perhaps offer a bounty for a windows DevCoin client in BTC to get it done fast? I personally think this is essential.
- Maybe set up an online exchange just for DevCoin?
- Petition BTC-e to add DevCoin
- Start working on getting merchants who accept BTC and LTC to accept DevCoin (we accept it at http://bitcoinprbuzz.com)

I think all of this would really help in getting DevCoin more exposure and help the whole project immensely.

Hello, im quite confused with the whole idea of Devcoin. I've skipped trough a few pages and devtome. It says it supports developers, but there is a bunch of funfiction listed and random articles. What is it actually 'worth' to work for devcoin? I have some basic android skills, what could that earn me in market price, if i'd try to cash them out by helping devcoin?

Bounties and the bitcoin share list add up to 50. I estimate writing will be around 30. Marketing should be around 8, for a total of 88. The unexpected might bring this to 100, making each generation share 1.8 million devcoins. At a price of 1.5 BTC/MDVC, that multiplies to 2.7 BTC.

I have a Galaxy HTC desire that I should be picking up tomorrow to have a go at installing devcoin on and will post my success on here (if i go silent means an error has occurred ) but should be possible from what I have read up so far

Also we on block 83976 i see, so only 24 more blocks to go till next round of shares start paying out right?  Wanted just to double check as you said unthinkingbit that earnings for the file 22 round will still be available up till block 85,000 right? Any update on the total number of shares this round so far?

Basicaly this way you can compile and install all cryptocoins means this method installs the full devcoin daemon on your device.
A lightwight Server/Client solution like the Bitcoin Wallet or Bitcoin Spinner App is still pending.

The eligibility has been changed, now people who are receiving devcoins can get marketing devcoins in that round, rather than needing to get coins for the last three out of four months. The marketing program has been updated, it checks to see if the publisher has received generation devcoins for any reason in the current round, including bounties, writing, and the bitcoins share list, and if so marketing devcoins are awarded for whatever is in the invoice:

To get around the empty image bug, a weird workaround is used. While an image without a link:

I propose that the dvc wallet that open source and on android or other devices should get a monthly share for continued maintenance on the wallet.
