That's correct, thanks Quickseller. It wouldn't be feasible to provide escrow for PayPal transactions, nor would both parties be protected unless the funds were held for an extended period of time.

Newbie question. If I want to buy .5 bitcoin, and I want to pay with PayPal, I can escrow that? My PayPal account is verified, over 10 years old, but I know how people here hate PayPal. So I could send the money to you, you could hold it for xx days to be sure I don`t do a chargeback, and then it would be forwarded to whoever I buy the .5 btc from? And they would send you the .5btc, so I know I`ll get it, right?
The escrow would need to hold bitcoin for this to potentially work and it would need to be held for in excess of 6 months, which is really not realistic. You would be better off withdrawing your PP funds to your bank account and then using cash to purchase bitcoinThat's correct, thanks Quickseller.
