Well, you were kind of right to use the word "gamble" in your post, because it could basically work or doesn't work and you either win or lose just like gambling, but I deeply believe it can be worse than gambling investing in a project that is based on a ponzi scheme because in some stances there is even more than 50% chance of losing money which depends on when they are going to run out of fresh new money that flows into their scam, and don't forget the fact that by investing in them in a way you are supporting what they're doing to other investors(even though it's their own fault) which is not that nice.

I think I do not need to explain what I mean by ponzi crypto scam. Every week I see at least ten new ponzi scheme scams.

They often offer something like 100% interest per 24h (or something similar). They commonly run for quite a few weeks (or months sometimes) before "they go scam" publicly. The obvious idea how to exploit them is to invest something small at the first day, withdraw it as fast as possible and repeat just with the interests from the previous bet (and of course take some money away from every successful round).
Has anyone tried that?
yes, in my early journey in crypto and I'm happy to realized early that it as a mistake.
I learned a lot here actually, so it's alright to lose money at the start.

Have you been successful? \
No one is successful with this on the investor's side, unless you are the promoter, and your success will stay until the time you'll get arrested.

Is this kind of gambling popular/common. Has it name?

Very popular in the past, in fact there's still plenty to be seen here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=207.0

100 percent return is old but new ponzis now introduce higher than that , theres that i see that they offer 400 percent return after the said number of days

with the huge return that they promise , people will try to find a way to exploit them  .

there are testimonies before of those who succesfully earn on them , they used the money for good . they bought houses , cars , build business but some got unlucky because they got scammed more after the came back .

I haven't tried with any of the scam service associated with gambling. I've tried multiplier software schemes and lost my earnings on those multipliers. I came across this multiplier script accidentally. Further I contacted that respective person and he provided with bitcoin address. I was instructed to send bitcoin that needs to be doubled. Down to the site I saw more number of transaction history mentioning the amount send and received. This made me believe in it, and send bitcoin to get scammed.

Ponzi to easily classify is when you earn when you have downlines or person who will spend their money for you to have an income. Why does it become a scam? Since they only pay when the project is fresh and when there's already a huge amount of money in their pool, they will take it all. Those who are on the top will be happy and the huge number of participants below are all scam. There's nothing to gamble in here as probability and chances are not 50/50. It will always turn out that you will lose and not get anything in the long run.

No I'm not and have no plan at all,and also i have limited time to gamble so i rather choose legit and long running sites than those Ponzi or scam sites.
What comes to your mind asking this?have you tried doing this?risking your money in ponzi casinos?i'm sure you will not and have no plans either.but maybe in some chances there are gamblers that curious and trying to do such but surely they are only few.

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
That is probably ponzi/pyramid scheme disguised as bet.
I guess the 100% interest comes from those under you who deposits after you deposited. When there is little to no depositors depositing it stops paying and people who are expecting to be paid don't get paid and their deposited fund taken by another person. I think it's not sustainable and is clearly scam.
It deserves to be called scam because people are promised(guaranteed?) unsustainable interest (100% per 24hrs), and they will likely lose their investments.
I wouldn't invest in such thing knowing it's unsustainable and scam.

I'm done with that, when I was still a newbie I try to play that kind of high risk investment program, but even if I mostly get out first before the investment stop paying, I realized I become part of the people who try to promote a HYIP which is in short a scam investment.

I hope everyone who are doing it and are playing to join will now stop, help yourself and help other people to be at the right investment only.

I also remember my newbie days where I though Ponzi schemes/cloudmining are the most profitable platform since they are paying good profits before but all of the sudden I get scam by them and  rob out the money of their investors. And for this not to be happen again I avoid them and also new users also need to avoid this since there's no legit in this kind of game and they will be lucky if they will get payed on their first pay out.

If you already know that was a scam site or with the Ponzi scheme alike and we know that there is no chance of getting back our money, what would be the reason to try them? The answer will be "NO" and I'd never tried it honestly.

The Ponzi scheme project had long been rejected. Those people who have no knowledge of this kind of project will be their victims. Not a total excuse but just let them find it and to have experience then they can justify how bad it was. Not everyone does and speaks against them that is why they are continuously doing it.

Some people have done it and some haven't, it's been a very rewarding experience for them. I don't think anything like that is very exciting, it's really hard to claim it to be a good thing. People who do it too I think they know what a ponzi is but they ignore and sacrifice a small amount of money there. I don't want to experiment there even in small number. Maybe I prefer neutral site over site that offer thing very similar to a ponzi scheme.

In the end the ponzi will only be a scam and one need not believe in that type of scheme even if it only uses a small amount of money. Why should we feed impostor if we are still too hungry ourselves ?

I'd say I once have the experience to participate in Ponzi when I was just a newbie and I remember that I once get a profit on it but as soon as they got a lot of recruits the scheme started.
That was the first and the last time I participate in that thing cause someone told me that I should stay away from it cause you will not get anything from it, it would be just a waste of time and money. Just like him, I will warn you, you never want to enter this kind of scheme, if you want profit then you can trade or invest there's a lot of ways but don't go for Ponzis.

Actually I had profited from one of these kind of ponzi schemes. I saw one site recently open literally 1 or 2 hours and there where like less than 100 depositor. I deposited $100 and I got what they promised doubled in 6hrs in exactly 6hrs. I know it is a scam but I just wanna test and risk if I can at least receive money when they are freshly launch because they are paying first members in the site.
Totally wouldn't recommend this to anyone, I just did it for once and it's just for experiment.

I am one time and it's a learning process for me I was a late investing and I only cash out twice and lose 95% of my money, that was such a big lesson and from then on anything that will say guaranteed income I shunned or avoid them, there's no such thing as guaranteed income especially from people who are unknown.

never. i wouldn't waste my money on such scheme i would still prefer on casino and sports betting since there's really a chance that you can get 100% not in 24 hours but just in an hour or minutes if you are lucky enough and also i know that i get a clean money (from winning)

People who fall to Ponzi Scheme are ignorant and are not thinking how can unknown people pay investors 100% where are they going to get money to pay these investors, even a loan shark cannot make an income that fast, they see the profit but never the trus motives of the people behind the project and they will only know it when it's to late.

I have never tried gambling on a gambling site that is likely to be running a Ponzi scheme...
I am not easily attracted by the bonuses offered because most likely it is just an attraction. there have been many cases where gambling sites that usually offer big bonuses must have had problems with withdrawals.
well I think you are very lucky because maybe some people who are here have experienced that, indeed when a gambling place has a ponzi scheme it is obvious but usually players ignore it, I prefer a neutral gambling place without a ponzi scheme even though it has potential losing all the assets used for gambling.

100% in 24 hours is not impossible for an investment unless they will scam someone or they will place it on a bet and win.
I don't really trust personally the ponzi scheme since it's ponzi it's a fraud and it is deceiving other people to gain profit.
Well it is still up to you however it is risky since it's doing something illegal and of course it won't take long and will be closed.

Guilty here. But this was at the end of 2010, and not even using Bitcoin (I did not know about it yet). Locally we have many types of ponzi scam games and when I first got it,,, it was from my friends who shared looking similar to MLM and done just with other types of digital money (paypal for example). I was not aware of hyip being around for years at the time. Learnt my lessons,,, never again.

Not your Keys, Not your Bitcoins
I don't agree with participating in ponzi schemes even if you know that it is a gamble. A lot of the participants might not know it so they put in more they can afford to lose. This is an ethical problem for me, but it is just how I feel. Maybe I care too much, Idk...

Also by participating in these schemes you encourage their growth.
