It happened to me a few years ago i was gambling to much and i didnt notice the time that it was already morning and i had to go to work, what i did was texted my boss and i had to excuse myself because im sick but the truth is i just had to go so sleep and rest my body.
I already experience that when my school days i skip some of my subject and play gambling but it is offline gambling, i spend more time in that area than in my school and of course mostly i lose my allowance that is why when i am in last year in college i stop to gamble and focus in my study and now i am working and i engage again in gambling but now it is online the difference is i can do it at the same time gambling and work that is why i do not to lose my time from work to play in gambling.
yes once a gamble is a hobby that you started off hard to avoid so you forget something else like that going to school or to forget your job because because of my gambling sometimes I'm really addict in gaming then highschool days I'm absent yet for playing anykinds of gambling.
I haven't yet. But that would be so alarming. Its a symptom of being addict in gambling. It maybe also a time management issue. But usually gambling can take more of your time. Maybe just make time management to not compromise work or school. Otherwise, you have to eliminate one activity.
It's alarming and it's a sign that a person who gambles that way and allows his other priorities to be taken over by gambling is really sick mentally. He's replacing those important things in his life with gambling and this is reality happening, feeling sorry for those people who are dealing with this problem. Well that is a good thing that you are able to control yourself. I have seen several people losing their job because of gambling addiction. Or some students because of billiards since they gamble on who is the better player. I almost tried to do this but somehow managed to make myself attend the class.

not al all,even sometimes i enjoyed betting but i'll make sure that but work wont be compromised.having limitation and self control is the key for us not to be addicted and our personal things will remain normal and gambling wont effect indeed

I never get late going to work because I can do the betting at my office, however the distraction to our work is there, when we are stress in gambling we cannot focus and that will lead us ineffective with our designated job. It's hard to control actually, I think we need to lose very hard in order to realize that we are doing a wrong thing, we are being unfair because we are paid and we are not doing the job we are suppose to. 
Well for me i have my priorities in life so i never missed any of my schedule because of gambling, I do gamble after my shift since i am using Bitcoin i can gamble during break, lunch and while going back home. It is better to focus first in priorities before leisure , fun or enjoyment.
You are right we need to focus to our priorities specially with our work because this will be the one who can give us money to gamble, leisure should come next we won't work all day so why need to put our job in jeopardy for the sake of gambling when we can easily manage our time.
I buy lottery tickets just to try my luck otherwise I am not interested in gambling/ gambling is a crime in my country and the security departments arrest those gamble anywhere in the country. Therefore I also stay calm and cool.
Well these are.types that doesn't really require a lot of time to play. Making bets and then just waiting for the result at a certain time. It not worth it to spend more time in gambling than work and school which is a lot more important
I have had some luck on lotteries before without even putting too much which I believe is one form of gambling that does not require much heartache and blood gush and you can just hope on luck.

Wow, It's not good at all. Gambling it's too risky, so you should focus when you do it, because you can lose a lot of money in a simple mistake, so we should be careful when we gamble, also It was good to gamble when we are free. Personally, I always do gambling in my home and somtimes using my phone when i am with my friends.
Of course it is not good,this person is clearly addicted to gambling and he should try to stop it. I'm sure he played simple games like dice because it would be hard to play other games while bored in class, so there's almost no mistakes to be done... If he played poker other games that requires focus then i agree that it was a mistake as he should do it while he's alone in home or some other place that's quiet instead of in loud class.

just a piece of advice mate, it is ok to gamble but just make sure that you have self control and time management so that what you do in gambling will not interfere in your work.
I think if you do sports betting with calculation and analysis , then you can sure earn in long term. Only play those games which you feel of winning and dont try to play daily as it will lead you to addiction.
Really? it is happening, because i have never seen that type of gamblers, may be i have no experience in real casinos, because only one casino is here in my area. But i know the addiction of gambling, and i can guess how they could waste their precious time in playing of gambling and they don't do their work properly. That the reason people are late for their work but if i will talk about myself then i always have time table of my works including gambling.
A big NO and it wont ever happened to me. I'm rhankful that im not into gambling, yes its fun and a way for entertainment but it will lead to bad thing once you become greedy and addicted. For me I wouldn't trade my job just to gamble.
Few times, i gamble overnight and because of lack of sleep it cause me to be late in work and even at the office i cant focus because i feel drowsy. Good thing now, i managed to change that habit and realize that it will give me trouble if i dont stop. Its important to have self control when you play so you wont get any problem later.

No, I think i have managed well my time between gambling and work. I only gamble when i'm going home with my mobile. If you want to avoid that you must do a time management because it might result in addiction if you don't prevent yourself from too much gambling. Time management is the key only gamble when you have free time. Don't let gambling take over your life and your time.
And what if you continue to lose? Would you stop or carry on gambling? I believe that managing time does not help that much. What is the point of managing time if you think of it all day long.
Once. Gambling from afternoon until morning, not sleeping and immediately leaving for work. When arrived workplace i am as mechanic can't work properly. Since then, I am always limit the time for gambling and that too i do on weekend.
Gambling in the middle of the night until morning is a sign of addiction. Just like I've ever played an online game. I play no matter the time even to give up my bedtime so that interfere with my activities the next day. In online gambling is also the same, gambling that we can play anytime so as to enable us to gamble all night.

This means you have issues and should work to fix it as soon as possible. Thinking that your work is wasting your time and you need to spend more time on gambling means you are addicting to gambling and can't spend a moment without thinking about gambling.
