ICO projects have become very popular over the past few years, and their number is constantly increasing because big money is pouring into this industry. Personally, I think that now the market for ICO projects is changing and when the market recovers, it will be different, maybe the projects will realize that most of them want too much money to implement their idea.

it can absolutely depend on the kind of project that is doing the ico and if they need the money that they are raising from it. Some are just fine without doing the ico and they do not have any problems doing well after. In the end it just comes down to money and if they need the money then i think the ico is necessary.

ICO is really good and you just need to find the good ones. I heard that it’s quite hard for scammers to start up ICO this time around cause the price for starting it is high this time around, but… I know there will still be scammers. Don’t forget the fact that ICOs has been able to raise billions of dollars this year, so that’s a good way to make a good profit. They are worth it and should still be around.

Nowadays, many very good and innovative projects, through ICO to raise funds, are more efficient than the traditional way.
It depends on the way the set up of the project is arranged, if it is set up in a way that they need more money than they have to improve the project then yes they do need icos. With icos they can raise the money necessary to make sure that the project is a success although not all of the projects need icos since they already have what they need to get started

in any case, among all Yeko companies that created their coins, there are quite promising projects and ideas than products will be in demand in society. Even if their 10% of it is 100, then I think that this is already a good result.

Icos allow companies usually at the very early stage to collect the funds necessary for the project development and the completion. There are good and bad projects, be careful when choosing to invest, do the research first.
You can't just underestimate the power of ICOs in bringing projects (new) to the World. ICOs go a long way in promoting new projects. Let's not forget the fact that some might be fake.

I do not think that we should abandon the ICO, if there is a good idea. Another thing is that the overwhelming number of such projects is based on trust, beautiful schemes and graphics, common phrases in white paper. There is a lack of more interactivity as proof of the existence of the project, not just: we have an idea, give us money, we will try in a year or two to implement it.

IMO, I think ICO is needed. At first new project often need money to develop their project and ICO is a good way to get money for their project. It's the same as SharkTank. LOL. But there are so many scam ICOs so investors need to be careful before investing in any ICO on the internet.
Well an ICO can certainly help a project get a solid start. But it's not explicitly "necessary" for a project to be successful. They can distribute the coins in other ways like airdrops or just selling on exchanges.
Of course ICO - it's a good variant make up a purse. Startups or any another projects which have relation with cryptocurrency IPO can't hold, due to the specifics of the niche.
I also think that this is necessary for the further growth of the entire industry, not only in general, but also in its application to life. ie for ordinary people.
I agree - that the projects .. this is part of the industry itself crit. therefore it can not be at all without it, respectively, the ICO and the crypto currency are one whole. if there is no ICO there will be no crypts,,,,
Of course it is use to raise funds , for me I am investing to existing company that are adopting blockchain company because it is more safer doing this , because most of the ICO Project nowadays are scams which is bad for new investors ! If you are looking for decent ICO i prefer WPP Energy that is established in Switzerland , the company is one of the leading renewable energy provider worldwide , they are also adopting blockchain technology to operate more efficient and also to incentivize the use of clean energy !
I completely agree with you. I think that ICO is very important for cryptography in general and I think we've already seen a lot of good Crypto-currencies that have proved that ICO is an integral part of their advancement and I think so and everything will remain in place!
I do believe in ICO because we have seen in so many projects the fruit of having an ICO we have a lot of good projects and platform online, but unfortunately, it is being ruined by bad projects and developers who neglected their project after getting funds from the investors, ICO has never been the same since two years ago.
