I sold another coin today not that I want to but I am thinking of selling off 2 or 3 more.

Ouch that kinda hurt, think we all have same feeling on that. Value has picked up a little around 455, it seems we keep going between 450-460 a lot during this period.

So really going into next difficulty change with value of around 455. Hopefully it can pickup more.

I would love the s-9 to demo in the solar array.

The S9 rumour, as far as I can see, is entirely based off Miningsweden having an S9 Preorder Hash available in the Shop. Supposedly they did the same with S7, so mayhave some value?

Yesterday another big Day with +18.75% and 171 Blocks. Things have stabilised so far this Morning and the Period to date Run Rate is at +8.8% with around 150 Blocks to go. We might get a little pull back Today, but could still go either way?

My thoughts are if they really don't have a date on the S9 with their pre-order. So they could be collecting pre-orders a week or months. ahead.. they do not commit to anything that I see. I think if they had true info they would be locked in a NDA and could not release any info let alone sell early. So I don't give it a ton of merit.

Price of BTC is still over 460 is the good news. But the difficulty change is going to hurt that is for sure.

Looks like price went down a decent amount were around 450 so back down - http://www.coindesk.com/price/ . So loss of 10 dollars or so in a day is not so great considering we are looking at a jump in difficulty.

Which would also make sense to explain some of the previous peaks being the newly made s-7's coming off the line and getting plugged in at a mine before coming offline and being sold "as new". I don't thinks all the hash is Bitmain, but I think generally this is what we are seeing happen.

And here I thought things would be quiet before the halving...

For what it's worth, nextdifficulty.com has been suggesting an increase of 9.6% for several days. I thought for sure it was way too high.........

Yes this is looking like a double wammy. First because I think you will be right and as the Run Rate is now over +9% we are likely to be over 10% this Period, but second wammy is because the Hash has come on late in the Period, only about 24Hrs to go, the Difficulty correction will significantly under-call the actual Hash added and I think we will be going into the next Period with around +10% as the starting point?
