Ouch a +10 is not going to be the funnest if that happens.  The good news is that might help keep price above 460.... so there is good news there if that happens. I keep hoping we get lucky and see a jump in value even more.

Will be interesting to watch that is the only for sure thing.

We are seeing a lot of short Block Times Today and the Period to Date Run rate is on a climb.... Currently at +8.7% and showing no sign yet of slowing....  
If this trend were to continue for the rest of the Period we could see +9%

Yesterday was a big Day with +16.67% and 168 Blocks. The start Today is also very High so very much looks like some Hash was added, only a couple of Days left for a pullback? Run rate Period to Date, 6 Hours in, is now up to +8.4%, so even my Pick looking on the low side.....

So the rate has definitely slowed a little with Yesterday being +4.17% and 150 Blocks. Like Yesterday we are off to another slow start and the Period Run Rate, 6 Hours in, now sits at +6.76%. Good to see the price holding and lets hope the rate drops over the last few Days of the Period?

granted it is too soon for the winding down to be official .

Fingers crossed that we back off more and have a gentle price rise .

Maybe a +3 % and a price of 480  at the end of this period.

The positive side is look at coinbase, we broke through 450 again and looks good right now.  Were at 461ish on coinbase.  So very positive on value rising currently.  We will see if it lasts but it could be a good difficulty period as far as value if we can keep gains.  Early to say if it will happen.

EDIT: Oops I'm too late.  Well, let's hope I was wrong anyway. 

Yesterday was +12.5% with 162 Blocks and continued to pull the run rate up. However Today we have had a few long Blocks which made for a slow start but we are correcting for that now and the Period to Date Run Rate, 5 Hours in, is +7.27%, so agreed we may have levelled off, but could still head in either direction from here?

And it looks like we may have hit the peak network hash power for the period already and it's leveling off, but too early to tell for certain.

Look at price it bashed through the 450 area.... now currently at 462 on coinbase.  So nice little jump and good to see.

It has dropped off in 15 adjustments since NOV.   about a 60 -150 ph drop   ,  but in Jan - Feb  it ran for 22 days in a row.

While it would be nice to see 150PH "switched off" today, I am thinking that's not going to happen. I think this will turn into a "leg up" for difficulty that won't go away for quite a while (if ever).

Just my kinda pessimistic outlook.

So Yesterday was+7.64% with 155 Blocks, and Today we are off to a frisky start which has pulled the Period to Date Run Rate up to +6.9%. I may have undercalled my Pick.... or the Hash may just drop off as it has done before?
