   The kitchen was 44 years old.  Had some semi-repairs here and there.
The fridge was a pulled out and does fit better. My wife and I are retired we both like to cook.  She always wanted a hi-end kitchen.  So since she has been really good about my world of BTC since I kind of always wanted a really nice kitchen.  Since we are over 55 yrs old we said f-it we will spurge. 

  So we are doing 3 major upgrades to the houses 
1) All new sliding doors and a new front storm door. -- Done
2) The kitchen ----- working on it
3) Two bathrooms and the master bedroom closets. ----- In October

With low electricity cost, S9 should be profitable next year as well because not much more power effecient equipment is planned anytime soon, but you should pay only the right BTC so you can realistically mine the Bitcoin back preferably in about half of a year to be safe.

And predicting longterm difficulty is not easy, so you might end up mining the BTC you paid much longer, but obviously you can sell the S9 as well for Bitcoin (but if the price goes up it might be not much BTC anymore). Its risky, but its fun and you can turn Bitcoin profit.
