The way things are going right now not surprised spread is pretty large. I guess EDA is just a "feature" of BCH now and it's just a cash cow for miners. At least it's delaying difficulty rises somewhat for us regular miners.

we used to get 50 to 75 pickers.. so people would pick over a wide area

While there is plenty of time for you to be proven right, right now the chart is still solidly in negative territory.

Does anybody know how long the EDA phase lasts for BCC? Is that an indefinite "feature"? It seems like it can really shift SHA-256 hashing back and forth pretty hard against BTC.

I assume hobby miners such as myself will be turning on more hash power with air conditioning season ending and non-summer rates enabled. Some may even be considering turning off gpus and firing S7's back up.
