Is there anything going to happen with Digit in the near future? If I dumped it all when it hit bittrex on relaunch, I could have earned over 5 BTC. I couldn't at that time because I was at 35000 ft with no internet. Now it's almost worthless. Not even pump & dump worthy :-/
Its sad how most of the bitcointalk user base is always expecting something to "happen" without doing anything to help. Its not about bells and whistles made for teenagers. Its all about the community.
BTW. There was never enough volume to even make a 1 btc at high price. Those were simply trading robots dummy orders. I know because i watched the markets from the beginning and sold some in to those dummy orders.
My best advice would be to just wait a few months until block reward has decreased a lot. If you dont want to wait, then simply sell and say bye.
To be honest I only saw this coin for more than a quick Pump & Dump profit maker and was perfectly fine with Scrypt Digit.
I'm pretty sure it was on Bittrex by the way. My buddy on IRC mined Digit as well. I recommended the coin because I thought there was potential in this one and I'm very happy he dumped when he could, otherwise I would have made him lose money for the rigs he rented and his own energy bills. He dumped right after the "new" X11 got listed and if I'm not mistaken, price was above 3500 sat. After he dumped, it was less than 2000 sat and by the time I could check, it was already down 500 sat. Now it's not even 40 sat.
The move to X11 was catastrophic and many lost all their Scrypt DIG because it wasn't very well communicated to the outside world and only those lingering in this thread knew how to get it converted.
Saying I'm only 'expecting' things to happen is not true. Okay... maybe it is for Digitn but I consider it as loss and amortized it.
I'm supporting Blackcoin projects with donations where I can or fund crazy things like Black Moon and started recently with a more active role in promoting Minerals. I think that's fair enough considering I only have few hours to spend on crypto. And next to that I'm trying to convince my employer and partners to accept bitcoin payments. That's not "nothing" and hard work in research and preparing business cases applicable to the sector. But those who blindly believe in the petrodollar are hard to convince and yet I don't give up on that.
