DigiByte? Yes!
Maybe I should have said it doesn't seem to be a difficulty problem. But, looking a little closer it shows that 15 out of the 23 blocks found leading up to the last scrypt block were scrypt. Maybe that really skewed the difficulty algorithm and the current reported difficulty of 87.16752915 isn't correct

Community Liaison,How can i help you?

Wow, I was going to ask if anyone knew how to buy BTC in Europe with fiat, and https://www.litebit.eu/en/ looks really interesting. Now, I've got to take a closer look. Don't have much time this weekend, but I'll have to make some time because I really want to get aggressively on the buy side of all that dumping!

I finally got around to doing a 24 hour analysis comparing the block find numbers between algos (much easier that I thought due to some block explorer features I was overlooking).

Groest........541
Qubit..........556
Scrypt.........177
SHA-256.....515
Skein..........572

Total blocks found 2361.

If we add the averaged 369 blocks that scrypt should also be finding to that total, we’d we looking at a total of 2730, which would be very close to theoretical.

I’m not at all sure about what could be causing this, but with the issue having to do with scrypt, and with scrypt being the “old” algo, my first inclination is to ask if active “old” wallets, or previously configured and still not updated pool servers, or exchanges, or the like, might not be causing this.

Huh

It because of the multipool mining scrypt, they put the difficulty so high that it take hours to generate a block when they leave.

So renting some scrypt mining will help this issue?

No Scrypt blocks have been found since block 155713.

Starting at 155713 until now, here's the count of each algorithm found:
837   groestl
1   scrypt
835   sha256d
845   skein
850   qubit

Something is definitely not right... and it's not a difficulty problem:
Mining Difficulty: Scrypt   87.16752915
Mining Difficulty: Sha256d   1306958.89099947
Mining Difficulty: Groestl   601.99800068
Mining Difficulty: Skein   2564.90447229
Mining Difficulty: Qubit   28.76510527

Hmm that´s strange indead.
Maybe Digibyte have something to say about this?

About the cryptohunger pool.
I posted on the thread  that there is something not right going on with the 20% hidden fee and they deleted my post and somebody else his post mentioning the 20%fee problem.
The owner of the pool scrxxx is deleting his pool on 31 October 2014.  Fealing some heat now we know this about the fee?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/anngroestlmyriadgroestl-pool-closed-652849

Don't we need to get some word out about this? We are talking about serieus money!

Does the the Multipool, Boostpool.com use the same algorithm?     ( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pool-closed-boostpoolcom-groestlcoin-payouts-770959 )
Owner scrxxx not saying anything about what algorithm he is using   ( https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/pool-closed-boostpoolcom-groestlcoin-payouts-770959.msg8710436#msg8710436 )

Digibyte, Still no word from scrxxx?

Edit:
HR, just reading this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.8677638 good job.

I don't see a problem with the amount of new coins per day. At the current price (20 Sat) it's only 3.84BTC/day. If we had 50+ BTC volume per day nobody would notice this. It's just a problem of trading volume. Once there are clear development and usage targets, it will rise. At the moment we have only a vage idea where this coin is heading to. And we have to trust the team that they are working on great deals and cool technical developments in the background.

Digibyte needs to become an accepted form of payment for goods and services. This is why DigiPay is so important. Also Digibyte needs to get involved in the new OpenBazaar project to become an accepted means of payment there as well. This coin is just asking to be used. So who wants to create DigiBlack the first online casino that take DGB?

Having more programming skill i would try but right now my skills are near 0 -_- (have to work on them)

That is messed up  Huh
I think we should reduce the total supply to 10.5 billions
And reduce the block reward will stable the price
Any suggestions Huh

No the only thing to do is use this coin, buy some reel things with it. If we can use it, people will buy it more and more... and more and more merchants will accept it...

If we reduce total supply and block reward, yes for the short term the price could stay stable but who will buy DGB and for what... on the long run nobody will buy it. The problem will be the same for the next month if we do that..

DigiByte need to be a reel currency and not a support for speculation...
