First of all I want the digibyte video to be completed. I know the situation with the guy not responding.
Also media coverage would be great, not only altcoin community media coverage, but also coverage anywhere out of the community to bring in new adapters.
To sum up, something that will give people an easily interpretable idea of digibyte needs to be made (a video is the best I can think of), after which people need to be led to the information.

- Set a goal of 1-3 merchants that are larger firms that will accept DGB as an option. I know some are still contemplating BTC, but use our value play (better security, faster transaction time, pricing, etc)
- Develop a press team to constantly let investors, community and the public know about DGB
Very good ideas as well. - USD/DGB direct exchange with reasonable threshold limits for deposit and withdrawals (50K a day is not very high)

We will be releasing the DigiRoadMap this coming Friday. The DigiRoadMap will be a detailed list of specific DigiByte goals to achieve over the next 6 months. Within the DigiRoadMap will be bounties and tasks to be completed by community members who volunteer in exchange for some DigiBytes.
The DigiRoadMap will also outline marketing objectives as well as a marketing plan. There are many bright & talented community members supporting DigiByte. Our goal is to put us all on an organized path that we can work on in a step by step manner to take DigiByte to the moon!

Agreed, we need hardcore promotions. Maybe use some of that premine stash to get some things going. Get some ads going, even an ad on this site. And hire a few people with massive twitter followers to promote us, etc.

I think most of the videogame virtual currencies are a place where you can't go, because the game editors have created them at purpose 
.
For them it is better to sell you 30000 [game]coin for 30$ (call it credit) and let you spend it in game then ask you to pay in $ in the game, why ? because they get the cash first, they are the only exchange for their money, and they have created a need.
We can either create a new need ( why not, but it requires inventivity) or we can just try to fit peoples current needs ( food, drink, porn wathever)
