You didn't join us this year.  Just wondering... What would've been your altcoin picks if you did?  Grin

Would you still pick some memecoins for your roster or do you think most of the value would go somewhere else?  Right now I'm seeing one token that has been getting a lot of bids...  That's fartcoin which prolly is an AI memecoin?  But yeah this market never ceases to amaze me.  Looks like holding a solid project still isn't the play?  What do you think?

Last few weeks were very heavy in trading, I didn't get a chance to do a deep dive and isolate 4 picks for that thread...

Fartcoin rose rapidly through Tiktok engagements, and is now catching another wave because Trump's latest moves are heavily favoring Solana and US based blockchains (eg Base), there are better candidates on Solana though that recently got liquidity sucked out of them because of sudden arrival of Trump tokens...

Retar Dio (NFA, I just like this cult's sign off and vibes 🦁, and I expect cult building meme coins to perform very well again in 2025).

Fantastic contest, and thanks @Halab and sponsors for the reward.

I think this contest merits some more visibility and more generous sponsorship, as it's arguably the most interesting altcoin event in this forum.

Congratulations to Halab for organizing it consistently over the years, and best of luck to this year's participants.

Made my picks yesterday and feeling really good about them...  Grin  But yeah, are we gonna continue using this thread for the next 2025 one.  So excited!  I picked everything from the Hyperliquid eco...  I'm gonna win this one!  Cheesy

But yeah, if those ones lose money then that means I lose money irl.  Cheesy Cheesy  Those are my bags but the distribution is different.  I got more than 50% in HYPE and staked them in Hyperliquid.

Just don't tell your choices to HL themselves, they will rig things up to make you feel really sad  Cheesy Good luck!

Edit : I have just realised that I put in the wrong information a year ago and that I put in an extra 0 for the bc.game rewards. These are now the correct values.
Honestly, I was surprised when the notification came in for 0.001BTC because I knew you said 0.0001 BTC, but thankfully this is the real reward. Grin

Thank you @Paid2 and for sponsoring BC.Game.
The reward has been received.

Sorry for being a bit long, rewards have just been sent and I have given the info to Paid2 to send the bc.game part.

Gladitorcomeback didn't want to receive the reward from bc.game, so I contacted the 4th (sky999), but with no response from him after 4 days, I contacted the 5th (ajiz138).

So the following people will receive :

Vispilio : 0.0025 + 0.004 BTC
Despairo : 0.0010 + 0.002 BTC
Gladitorcomeback : 0.0005 BTC
ajiz138 : 0.001 BTC

Sent the BC.Game' part to the winners! Smiley

^  Congrats to the winners, esp to Vispilio for picking a mother fcking rocket.  Lol.  It was good timing too as the schizo meme meta looked lime it was dying but then Murad came in and picked up the pieces.

It's weird that ticker $BITCOIN didn't go up like SPX6900 did tho.  Between the two I was thinking $BITCOIN would he the one to make over a billion market cap and enter the top 10 and confuse the noobs why there are two Bitcoins in the top 10.  Lolol.  Cheesy Cheesy

Will make my picks later.  Wink

Just shows that even in crazy bull markets you really need to be careful. I was quite surprised to see Celestia, Matic, ETH L2's (Arbitrum, Optimism) losing 50% or more value.
Also - this just shows that the proper bull market is still ahead of us.

Happy holidays fellas, thanks for the competition and see you in the new one with some crazy picks again.

'Random but balanced' humiliates most of us. I think I will roll my head over the keyboard to make my picks for this year Smiley.

Congratulations to Vispilio, it was a no-match.
Congratulations also to Despairo. He stayed hidden all year to grab the 2nd place in the final days.
3rd place was fought over for a long time, but Gladitorcomeback finished on the podium.

As usual, I'm leaving it a few days so that everyone can check that I haven't made any mistakes.
I'll be contacting the winners soon to get their addresses to receive their rewards. And I will send the info to Paid2 so that he can send you the bc.game part.

Thank you all for your participation and help. Thank you bc.game for your sponsorship.
Don't forget to join the 2025 contest (registration closes on 15/01/2025).

^  So...  The maxis are right.  We mostly suck and all we really need to do is to buy and hold Bitcoin and no other coin.  Lolol.  Maybe they weren't saying it as an idealistic sense but just common sense of what we should be doing or else we just lose money by buying into the dumbest sh*t  in crypto.  Lmao.

Anyway congrats to the winner.  Good pick with SPX6900.  Who would've thought it was gonna go up huge during that time when it looked like it started waning.

not your keys, not your coins!
Crazy how after a year, only 6 out of 40 portfolios outperformed Bitcoin. It's not even a 50/50 gamble, when buying alts. Excited to see what happens next year!
Also next time someone skyrockets like Vispilio, I'll look into logarithmic scaling for my graphs. Wink

Great! Can we keep this thread? I mean, I don't see the point in opening a new thread every year. All the information for this year fits into 2 or 3 posts of this thread as an archive, and it will be updated.

The information is indeed the same, but the datas are not. It's going to be a bit complicated to distinguish the data for 2024 from that for 2025. After several years, it's going to be a mess.
And if there are different sponsors over the years, I don't know if they'll appreciate it.
