I propose replacing the word “Contest” with “Discussion” when the call for applications closes.
After you stop accepting applications, I'll take a look at how many people we have and maybe I can increase the prize fund a little more (but that's not for sure).

Therefore, when I talked about extending the competition, I meant that we would be able to get more participants who would one way or another leave comments in this thread (which is what the sponsor is actually interested in).
