Sooo, first of all I have to say this was way more fun than I expected it to be.
As already said, I did this with my wife and she was really excited because I usually enter the kitchen only to get icecream. So thanks for that I guess.

Considering that good old Laszlo paid for 2 pizzas, we decided we'll do two as well. My wife did the dough and actually baked them properly so we can also eat them later and I was in charge of arranging ingredients.

I'm attaching a few pictures of the ingredients to start with.

Dough is of course homemade, sauce isn't because this Mutti one is just perfect. We used the regular pizza stuff - 3 types of cheese and some vegetables.

The first pizza was easy to arrange, I had a clear idea of what to do. Considering it was the first time I'm doing it, I was happy with how it ended up.

Although I still think Laszlo would be getting a bargain with the 1st pizza, I can't really say that for the 2nd one.
I redid and rearranged this one probably 10 times and gave up eventually.

It should have represented a green BTC FOMO chart with BTC symbols, turned out okayish but I'll be more prepared for this kind of idea next year.

Although not visually what I wanted it to be this one actually tasted better, so not all bad I guess.

This was a lot of fun, a mini family project to reconnect a bit. Will surely do it again next year.

Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day everyone, here's my creation.

As you can see, it's a pretty simple pizza with smoked turkey, cheese and just a few olives and button mushrooms. Those who are more observant might notice 14 Bitcoin signs for 14 years since Laszlo bought those 2 pizzas with Bitcoin.

I don't want to clutter this thread with too many images so I'll share only two during preparation and baking. Cutting those cheese signs were a pain in the ass as I didn't have a 3d printed mold or anything like that and instead used the old school method of pressing a piece of paper on my monitor and copying the bitcoin sign but due to them being made of paper and therefore very fragile, I managed to ruin several of those in the process.  Cheesy

Happy Bictoin Pizza Day!
Friends, good day again, everyone.
I've been thinking about this contest for a long time and decided to take part in it. Last year I also had the desire to participate, but I was too late by the deadline.
Please do not judge me harshly, as I am not a professional chef and have never done such things.  The whole process took me almost 7 hours of personal time. I didn't expect it to be so difficult to cut out the letters and make a separate small pizza out of each one.

A little bit about the idea behind the project. At first I wanted to do everything with a single topping, but later changed my mind. What was done?
Each word in this phrase has its own topping. I'll write about it at the end.

I will proceed to the description of the cooking process itself.

1. Naturally, what is needed is dough. What products does it include?
- wheat baking flour
- butter
- salt
- sugar
- yeast
- dough leavener
- water

2. ingredients (pizza toppings):

- pickles

- fresh tomatoes

- onions

- green onion

- seafood (mussels, squid, crab meat)

- mushrooms (which I personally picked in the forest last year)

- olives

- -two kinds of cheese: Dutch cheese (briquette) and sausage cheese (which smells pleasantly of campfire smoke)

General photo of all pizza ingredients:

I used a mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup as a sauce.

Photo of the working process:

Photos of the final finished product:

I almost forgot about the paper. Good thing I didn't have time to eat that pizza letter Grin

What came out in the end. 3 kinds of pizza:
1. With tomatoes, pickles, cheese, mushrooms.
2. With onions, olives, two kinds of cheese.
3. With seafood, green onions and two kinds of cheese.

Bon appetit, everyone!

A suggestion to everyone who creates reserve posts (I don't know why they do this, but ok):
When you update the posts with your pizzas, make a new post informing that you have updated the reservation post, and the link to it. This makes it easier to understand who has already sent their participation.
Regarding the wise suggestion as given by joker_josue, I wish to use this medium to make an information that I have updated my reserved post for the pizza contest as suggested. Here's a  link to it... https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.64089085

Cheers!

I will make it so that during the voting, people will not even know who owns this or that pizza (of course, except in those cases when someone has a photographic memory).
Nice addition!

It will also be prohibited to campaign for your pizza.
I'll campaign for the one with pineapple. Just to piss off every Italian Tongue Seriously though: my wife suggested pineapple because it's easier to make shapes. I told her that's a big no-go Tongue

this year we really fought to have an honest pizza contest, with clear rules and so that everyone has the same chance
The chances can never be equal: a chef has a higher chance of winning this competition than a student who, at most, cooked instant noodles. Smiley

And regarding clear rules, I already wrote above:
  • I reserve the right to decide at my own discretion whether your baked goods are pizza or not.
Well, then you should add a description by what criteria you will evaluate the baked goods as pizza (are olives required? what about mushrooms? composition and thickness of the dough, acceptable ingredients, etc.).  Or will need to send you a piece of it by mail for tasting? Smiley

psychological subjection, if theymos makes a pizza, many will be tempted to vote for theymos' pizza even if it's not the most beautiful pizza
That's why he doesn't participate in this contest. Smiley

But your message is clear: popular and recognizable users on the forum will have a psychological advantage.

A lifehack for winning this competition: if Laszlo cooks the pizza, he will take all the prizes pool. Wink

to have voters who vote objectively, in my opinion, we need to publish the pizzas anonymously so people can really vote for the one they like
This would certainly increase the objectivity of the assessment when voting for the participants’ baked goods.

But it seems that this condition of Bitcoin Pizza Day competition will not be introduced until next year (best case scenario).

This is the first time I participated in a pizza contest. This is the first time I made a pizza with Bitcoin Pizza Contest because I had no experience making pizza before. Maybe the pizza I made was not as interesting as the restaurant but I tried my best and after trying my best I was able to make this pizza. All the ingredients for making this pizza had to be bought from outside. All the ingredients I used to make this,
1.
 pizza are flour,
2.
some sugar,
3.
some salt,
4.
some powdered milk,
5.
barbecue sauce,
6.
tomato sauce,
7.
pizza sauce,
8.
cheese,
9.
dry chili powder,
10
oregano,
11.
black olives,
12.
greens Capsicum and red capsicum.

I have prepared this pizza by combining all these ingredients according to certain rules. Making my own hand made pizza and participating in this contest is a pleasure for me.

Just a clarification: does the contest end on the 31st of May, 00:00 UTC time?
Yes

In fact, reserving posts will not help in any way in winning. I will make it so that during the voting, people will not even know who owns this or that pizza (of course, except in those cases when someone has a photographic memory).

It will also be prohibited to campaign for your pizza.

I guess someone noticed that the pizzas on the first pages had an advantage in terms of views compared to the ones on the last pages.
Yeah that is right because whenever someone visits a thread it checks the first page to see what is the content and the discussion about the topic. So the what the person said it is not far from the truth. But that's not necessary that the people or the pizzas at the first page wins the contest. Someone that decorate his pizza very and he dropped it at the last page of the thread can also win the contest. So all what matter is to prepare a nice pizza for the public viewing since we can't eat it.

Let's everyone who is interested to participate should try their best to win the contest and not everyone can win but only the mentioned numbers in the Op. This is one the highest event making the forum  more interesting and we come again to celebrate. This events is to create love among members in the forum and not to do the otherwise. And everyone is free to participate if you are interested.

So everyone is reserving a post in order to be in the best post.

I think I can view some pizzas sent last year on page two a thousand times and never get to vote for them!

I participated in Pizza for the first time this year. It was a very special moment for me.

The ingredients needed to make pizza are:

Pizza plate, Mozzarella cheese, Pizza sauce, Oregano, Yeast, Milk, Capsicum, Beef aparoni, Black olives.

I have never made pizza either but my wife makes them for me sometimes. I will participate in this contest this time so I helped. We are making this pizza together.

Delighted to see this back on the forum, I'm in and have booked a day off work to go shopping
for ingredients, bake, eat, celebrate and participate.

The bar has already been set very high by paid2 and a previous champion has entered the ring

That time of the year has already come.
I am ready to battle for the throne.
There will be competition in the Italian mafia board.
There will be blood tomato.
I had a minor upgrade this year. Hopefully, I will have my dear pizza icon again.

Thank you, Icooress, for organising all this.
Thank you also to the sponsors for your generosity.

Note to self: I will enter the competition on this post.

Thank you to icopress, BC.Game, BitcoinGirl and Theymos, the prizes are fantastic.

The chance to just  participate here, show off my Pizza and seeing everyone elses will be great!

I hope with this memorable day tomorrow there will be a global Pizza feast and the smell of
dough, cheese, Italian meats and Olive oil will waft around the globe intoxicating all into
the heady excitment of Bitcoin Pizza Day
