Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
We've all participated in the bitcoin pizza contest, I just want to appreciate the manager Icopress, the host B.C Games and everyone here. But how can we all forget the man who start the history? I just felt the need to drop this here as his the ordinator of this contest. The original image is down but this above I got from somewhere. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1195Happy belated bitcoin pizza day everyone

After using a VPN, I am able to view the pizza images; most likely, the ISP is blocking them. If you've downloaded too many pictures through the image proxy, your IP gets blocked for 4 hours.

This is strange, because the images are proxied from ip.bitcointalk.org. Therefore, if your ISP was indeed blocking them, it'd make sense to block the entire forum.
Sometime happen me too, ISP blocking image and i cant see it. VPN solve the problem.

I have a few questions. 1. Do we have to vote our selections on this thread or some other? If so then please state the thread. 2. On which date this thread or voting thread will be locked?
For some reason the images from the forum aren't loading, could be a server related problem.
This thread is only for discussion about the pizza contest. There is only one thread for submitting a vote, check it here [Voting 2024] Bitcoin Pizza Day on Bitcointalk 🍕Posts #2 and #3 are numbered pictures for each valid participant. I don't see a problem with loading images in that thread After using a VPN, I am able to view the pizza images; most likely, the ISP is blocking them.

All votes will certainly be counted, if they are considered valid by @icopress, regardless of the format presented.
That's right...only the numbers matter. [...] Frankly, I didn’t expect you to share this photo since it was intended for you. Thanks.

- Votes that were not presented, according to the format suggested by the OP, are not included I didn't think about that so I have a question for icopress: do the votes have to be submitted using the code format otherwise they won't be considered valid even if the user has all the correct requirements (account age, merits, and active before the contest) to vote? None of that!I said this in relation to my analysis that I did. Analysis was done independently and is not binding. Just a sample of what is possible. Therefore, please disregard my presentation, for binding and final purposes of the competition. All votes will certainly be counted, if they are considered valid by @icopress, regardless of the format presented.

Man, I'd appreciate it if you'd stop posting preliminary voting results. 1. Anyone can edit their post until the thread is locked, so this may not be accurate. 2. Information about leaders or laggards can affect objectivity (very significantly). 3. Thanks to the preliminary results, the intrigue disappears. Agreed and I apologize for the inconvenience. That wasn't my intention. Either way, I made it clear that the information is incomplete and inaccurate.

Also @ABCbits awarded 387 qualifying prizes to pizza contest entrants today. You have also given merit to 131 people in a single way, although you have tried to give merit awards to all people, many have received merit more than once. You may have accidentally left something out.
That might be possible since i manually see and send merit to each entrants. Anyway i'll revisit this whole thread later to see whether i missed something. I also notice user @JayJuanGee send merit to so many entrants. It ain’t easy having to go through all them pages and to the many contestants we have in the pizza contest, making the associated threads colourful and leaves a few lovers of good Italian pizza salivating. However, one way to keep track of all of them is in the initial thread for uploading them pizza where, through the compiled picture evidence of entries, you can review posts from individual entries. However, what might have been left out are the late entries and disqualifications based on other reasons. Though these might not count, efforts are still there which is worth rewarding. The contest have become a large one and forum intuitive, am amazed at how motivated users are towards this eventuality. [...]

It’s a nice idea and the open ballot system used here is very cool though, having to analyze and post these votes before it’s time could influence individual decisions as, users would tend to review where the most votes are cast, seek out those options more for a potential vote, leaving less and less concentration on other entries. Of course this could be the case should users randomly check but, it would mean a ton of work too and not many users would want to go through that and pre-result exposure like this makes the work easy for them towards this goal and concentrates votes.

Sorry again for the double post, but the table I presented before had a small configuration bug and was not displaying some data, which should have appeared (The votes for pizzas numbered #100 and up were not being counted). Some considerations that should be taken into account when looking at these numbers: - These are not definitive results - Votes that were edited are not included - Votes that were not presented, according to the format suggested by the OP, are not included - May include double votes and invalid votes, as I did not do this quality filter - Pizzas with less than 3 votes do not appear on the list (although they are included in my file) - In a post that the user quoted, all the votes may not be included - This is just an outline and there may be other criteria that are not configured. I will only improve the file if @icopress is interested in using it. Below is the updated table:

Without going in too much detail for obvious reasons, I know there is a pizza which got more than a few votes, I cannot see in that chart. I don’t know if it still need to get updated, or there is a bug somewhere. Or maybe I didn’t get how it works.
What I did was just a quick sketch of what I was capable of. Each table has each choice, according to the voting order - which doesn't seem to count, and thank goodness. And if some posts have been edited, updates will not be counted. Furthermore, some posts were not counted, as they did not follow the format requested by @icopress. Here is an overview of the current votes (indicating only pizzas with 3 or more votes) (take into account the points mentioned before): @icopress If you don't want me to present this data, say so. If you want the tool I created, say so.
