Decade ago, altcoins did not exist. And look how it has become today. Altcoins do have future but only those good and strong will remain. Not will will have future, and other cannot even survive on ICO stage. Now is the future of crypto. Soon the future will be brighter than today.

I think around only 5% of coins have future, all other coins are going to die, because they havent got good idea and product, and only depends on hype and news.

50% of all altcoins in cryptoworld has a future, others is just a crappy project and scam. You have to consider the top 20 coins on coinmarket and this are have a 100% future to grow.

It seems to me that even a smaller part of the total number of cryptocurrencies can really be a worthy object of investment. After the market will be stabilized no more than 10% of coins will stay. I think so.

Some altcoins certainly have a future. I really do not believe the future is reserved for bitcoin alone. Other coins such as Ethereum, NEO, Zcash, Monero etc all have great utility value, I would even say some of these are superior to bitcoin (particularly NEO and Monero). I don't think these four are going anywhere any time soon, they are safe bets for the long term.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.

Who does not use alt coins? you are wrong, a clear example is that ethereum is becoming very popular and more and more companies or projects are implementing it.

Hello, I will try to answer your question, see that the crypto currency is really a great future as they every day become more integrated into our lives and become a means of payment replacing paper money and for these factors the demand for them is growing and accordingly the price for them is also increasing

Ofcourse it really does have a future, because of those ICO who uses Cryptocurrencies on paying bounty hunters which makes the market value of those crypto coins higher and making it more valuable to our community
It's not only the bounty hunters are making the value higher, bounty is just part of the marketing and as an altcoins to progress they need
to show result and that result is vital so we can use that to spread to the community to attract people to buy and make them hold.

every coin I think has good potential if its dev gives meaning to investor. so too with alcoin, I think there is a lot of future for it. but depending on a certain coin, of course there are those who do not have the same forefront. it is due to the absence of the organizer company and does not attract investors.

Agree on this. Every project has team, which they are the one who are incharge to take care on every investor. They should value their investor, they should be active on their community. Altcoins for me is a really good for long term investment.

You have a point but this wouldn't happen so lightly. Ethereum and Litecoin has already gained deeper roots than you can expect. Remember, as Bitcoin solves and does its homework, ETH and LTC will do same. However, not all the alt coins have future when some percentage are being run by inexperienced and greedy developers and team members.

Yes, I think a lot of altcoins have a future such as Ethereum, Dash, Monero, Zcash, and Zcoin. and also many other altcoins to come the in the future because if you look at the current altcoin market value is determined by the altcoin worth, and features too.

The future of altcoins (most of them) depends on the future of bitcoin. There's some crypto summit is about to take place, let's wait for the results.
Also, new regulations from the US and Japan that may cause changes.
