Of course many altcoins will have good future. Look at where we are today. Bitcoin, ETH, LTC, Altcoin they all have very bright future. Even if you don't believe altcoins have a future, many people have become rich trading in altcoins.

Many alternative coins now have a good purpose in our economy, not like before. Some of them are just a clone of Bitcoin. But now, their purpose changed in a different way. Some are payment system, some are a crypto exchange, some are automation in business and all of them are based on blockchain technology. With many coins are now entering the market, I believe some of them will stay after 5 years.

In my opinion, something might happen because we experience a high price increase of most altcoin. But in the long run, it all depends on what will happen to Bitcoin. If Bitcoin can solve the problem like the transaction fee you mentioned, then it will be a cryptocurrency. If not we should wait for another cryptocurrency that will replace Bitcoin

I think altcoin definitely has a future, logically, otherwise why do people compete to create projects that are synchronized with blockchain and then apply what we know as ICO programs, they do that there must be a reason, and the reason is because the ICO program is the most effective and efficient way to raise capital funds

of course there is. altcoins has a big role in the market that's why there is really a future on it.
altcoins is considered as money which can be use differently by its own purpose.
but not all altcoins, there are some altcoins which is also considered as shit coin so better to choose your altcoins carefully.

Altcoin has a future, but only for established altcoins. You can see a lot of altcoin scattered in the market that eventually died. If altcoin is still supported by developers and community, I guarantee altcoin can have a good future.

Who says who don't? For me altcoins really has a future. The only question really is what altcoin we need to invest our monies with? We need to be very careful with our altcoin investments. Not all altcoins can take us to the moon.

Most altcoins will probably die by the wayside, but there are plenty out there with genuine use that will be sticking around for some time to come. More than likely, a number of these altcoins will be 'promoted' and no longer be considered altcoins, but ones that have a real purpose. I'm no Biff Tannen, but would put my neck out and say that in my life time (if drinking and smoking doesn't kill me off early), fiat currency becomes a thing of the past. Even more so when you consider the fact that in the developing world there are countries (and even continents) looking at introducing their own cryptocurrency. I doubt whether any of the current coins will go on to be the 'worldwide' mass adopted currency, but there will be one to rule them all. Just hope I have a couple of bob invested in it.

I believe Bitcoin has a future in long term. It proved itself in the past years and it is getting widely popular. It just has a transaction fee problem atm.

What about the altcoins? Who does use them for real? Will people use them in the future for real purpose?

I only have a hope for ethereum and litecoin, but not for the rest. I am not even sure for eth and ltc.

If bitcoin solves the reansaction fee and time problem, I doubt eth and ltc even have a future.
People will use altcoins in the future and they will use them for everyday things that we can't even imagine right now. While I am of the mindset that most alts will die out, the ones that remain will be glorified and provide something to this world that we could not imagine possible. The main thing I now look for when thinking can this altcoin be around later, is how simple is their goal? If the goal is complicated and the devs can barely explain it meaning nobody can understand it, doesn't matter how good a project it will surely fail. And vice versa if you have a goal that is simple it stands to have a better chance at success because you can most probably solve that problem. Coins that try and solve 5 things at once? Most certainly will fail, and it is because they are attempting to do too much at one damn time!

They have a future if they have a unique feature, ultimately as they become more popular or widely used, in many instances they will face the same scaleabilty issues as BTC and ETH (if they are lucky to get that popular!) They will find true values soon enough even if it not fiat value some may just influence future developments of already established coins.

This, essentially. The vast majority of altcoins will fade away, with the ones with a genuine case use, strong team and frequent users surviving.

Every coin has a future and same as the human who has also a future but that future cannot be determined quickly if that coin has a great future or a bad future the future of the certain coin maybe depend on the people demand and the supply of that coin.

Some says that Altcoin is may the future of cryptocurrencies, rather than Bitcoin in some various reasons including transaction speed and fees.As Bitcoin priced is really high, entry is hard for those new in cryptocurrency and Altcoins is best and cheaper alternatives,so many potential coin with much value that can be made to invested rather than Bitcoin.

Sure, if it is a coin of a popular project that is useful for people, then this coin is certainly here to stay. We've seen, though, some examples of coins that were made for fun, but also expanded their audience a lot.

Hello! Of course there is a future for the altcoins, but not all, there are only those who have a good team, for example, as with Equi, this project has a great team and a good future! Get acquainted with the project and take part in the ICO from March 15! Good luck and good investment !!!

Some altcoins will have a future esspecially with all this smart contracts based on very promissing projects. But IMHO more than 80% of cyrent alts will gone in few years. New one will be born and die. It's like Darvin's theory.
