It is not right for the people that are under the age of 18 years old to gamble because their minds aren't that mature to make the right decisions. The people that are under the age of 18 years old don't really need to work and support a family at that age if they were raised correctly, they should be doing other things that don't involve money so they could build a better future for the people that are surrounding them.

I am pretty surprised that this topic has a bunch of mixed statements. I thought that the guys on Bitcointalk was at least 20 years and up, it's like there's a bunch of kids posting around stating that their age set should gamble and there's nothing that the old heads could say to stop them from doing it.
I really don't care if the kids gamble, I know that it might be the wrong thing to do though I am not the type of person to influence them to gamble even more.

That is one of negative side from bitcoin because it didn't request any verification id and for sure there will be a lot of teenager go to gamble, because at that age they will be curious and feel that they can win against the house, that is why I predict there will be a lot of people addicted in gambling in the future

Yes, Of course because it is so easy to lie in the internet so basically there's under age that are gambling because no one can know what is they real age. Because here in the internet we are all anonymous so no one can know what is our real identity so I think yes there and there will be under age that is gambling.

Actual gambling like that,that uses tokens and when won can exchange in toys were really play by kids,but young ones that can use computer will also into online gambling that will soon  get real money,it cant avoid to happen since children were hard to monitor now especially when they engaging in gadgets.

It depends in my country there are some machines that you can find almost anywhere where a small roulette with images of fruits spins and if you hit it right then you get a prize, in my opinion those are gambling machines and are very popular in my country especially amongst kids.

I do see it is as the failure of parential protection. It would be the responsibility of every parent to monitor and take care of their children so that they will not misguided by any of their friends toward gambling or the any bad habits.

Certainly we can say if under age people get into gambling then their future will be a very big question mark because gambling addictions are very much dangerous to ruin their future.

You dont need to be 18 to earn BTC or other cryptocurrencies so children can take advantage of that and use it for gambling definitely. Once they get addicted in the early age it will be complicated to become normal later on.

         In our country, I think kids can't gamble even in online because what I know is that most gambling sites asks for a credit card but now a days kids knows how to go over that and still gamble.  So your right I think kids playing online gambling is increasing especially if a kid has a full access of the internet and when they also play with other players that wants to gamble. I really don't know anyone but in our country its popular playing DOTA 2 in the internet cafes and they gamble whoever wins gets the cash. But in real casinos there is a strict rule that it should be 18 above so there should be no kid playing in a casino because they asks for your ID.  In my opinion kids gambling is okay if ages of 16-18 years old but they should be supervised by their parents so they know that their child is gambling and they can control their child and also kids should not be exposed to gambling in an early age, its okay if the kid is almost 16-18 years old but the parents should talk to their child and not letting their child until they are old enough. For me I started gambling when I was 18 but my parents told me that its better to save it and use it with other things than waste your money in gambling. So I stopped and just save it for other purposes. The best way to counter the problem I think is that every gambling site should ask for at-least 2 a piece of ID also they they should ask for more details and age or the parents can block/limits the child's access of the internet.   Hope it helps  

If my children gambled under the age of 18, even with their own money, I still wouldn't allow it.
It would be really bad if they formed a habit while they are this young and their brain hasn't fully developed.

The minimum gambling age of 21 y/o is pretty decent and it's there for a reason.

Its not surprising anymore since this moves are normally being done by people who do love to gamble and they would normally go to places which gambling isnt too strict or not been prohibited and speaking with children they are really expose into it since we can access gambling in a matter of clicks of our phone or computer as long theres an internet then they do really have the access.

Yes nowadays young teenagers who is below 18 is knowledgeable about different type of gambling most likely you will see them in an illegal gambling are or places because policy and rules im am illegal gambling area is not that strict.

i know everything online actually made to make people have an easy access anywhere anytime , but of course it is all exist with the risk. a bad impact when online gambling legalized and there is nothing much you can do to prevent something like this , no control over it.

parent takes big role here , people should actively socialize about how dangerous online stuff it is.

Technology does really contibute big on minors on engaging to online gambling on their early ages and yes as long internet can be found we can access into it anytime anywhere but we should think off even theres no internet people do still engage to gambling come to think of on old gamblers like on physical casinos but well its just normal because they are on the right not just like now where young minds are exposed to easily on gambling.

No one would ever consider mining anymore because of its disadvantage to the difficulty now. It's not that easy and I hope it would be an easier cryptographic puzzle but it won't be any easier. You can easily get bitcoin with an online service, or an exchange that accepts fiat.

Sure, many under age kids gamble when they want to get few bitcoin for a start because they think it's the easiest way to get bitcoin online. Kids doesn't have enough money to buy for bitcoin mining tools and devices. So, they go for the route to get the bitcoin nowadays which is through gambling   

You can say that you are responsible but no one could really know or verify it. You will be really responsible if you take care of your family and accept the responsibilities given to you. I'm just curious you just said you can't visit but you have casino investments? I don't know how you will do that or just VPN or something. Be responsible.

I'm a teen, I'm very responsible at my age, I know which site can I visit and I can't, I make BTC from faucets and casino investments, sometimes trading (I don't gamble because it's illegal, then why investments should be illegal if you have edge?), but I would to say that lack of age verification is just to allow investors make money. Every casino has some investors, and these investors risk little in order to make money on other people. Also casino takes small % of fee bcoz casinos are a business, not charity giving away free money. 90% lose, only 9% win and less 1% win big.
