my country is not regulated is bitcoin
but my country not refuse, and do not forbid
much exchanger my country , legal company and regulated and paid tax
it was very nice, it is beginning to countries you can recognize bitcoin. most disadvantaged countries even refuse bitcoin. your country can still fight for bitcoin as a legitimate financial payment media.

Bitcoin is not too popular in my country and very few are aware about it and if that is the case we cannot expect that we would be able to spend it physically.

You can also walk into some stores in your area asking them if they are willing to accept Bitcoin as form of payment alongside their usual payment options. It's potential extra revenue that they could be generating. Which store doesn't like that idea? I am doing the same and 2 shops have notified the store boss about it. One is a small local super market, and the other is a Japanese restaurant. Will be interesting to see whether or not they will give Bitcoin a chance.

Hi, bitcoin users i am from the Philippines. Willing to know if bitcoin is accepted to in your country. Because right now i have used one service that allows me to pay online or shopping buy steam and load so i am wondering if bitcoin is being used or known in your country.    Huh Huh Huh Huh

I belong to philippines also, so far there is only one merchant I know who accepted bitcoin and that is coins.ph, and few businesses only who accepted bitcoins which can be found in makati, and restaurant. when it comes to adoptions where not in that stage maybe it will take a long time before the masses realize how big advantage we have if we are using bitcoins. Ofcourse bitcoin are accepted here in my country , and its legal and some merchants now are now accepting bitcoin as a payment method we can now also pay our monthly bill with our bitcoin wallet its now less hassle because we don't need to travel that far to pay our bills and we use coins.ph because it is amazing here in philippines <3
I think it was not declared as legal or illegal, the proper words is just it is acceptable here in our country, we can actually easily cash out from different banks and for me though we cannot directly spend our bitcoins online but with exchanges in the area it would be possible to easily cash out.
Being considered legal is different from simply just accepted. Well, it's not really officially accepted as well as there are only third party company/ies that are actually doing the business. But these private organizations may trigger governments' stand on bitcoin in future. Governments may consider them as their free of cost trail providers.

what do you mean not officially, some store accept bitcoin course they are officially accept bitcoin although there is currently a lot of big companies that accept bitcoin.

Yes if they are accepting bitcoin that means they are officially into it, and  may be in future we will find many shops that will start accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment.

It is hard to pull back if you sttarted it. Specially when a lot of peoplr have known that your shop is accepting this currency. Sometimes I think about it. How is the owner taking the $100 dollar fall I bet he is good at managing it.

That is certainly true, if we manage something that hasn't been heard or not known by most people then it is something that is futile and will not provide a positive impact. But if you want to get something good, then open an Online store is the most appropriate thing. because everyone knows it and definitely you get customers

i look that many country is not giving the good statement about bitcoin, they don't make a statement bitcoin is legal or illegal. maybe in off the record, government in each country will said, use bitcoin for your own risk and don't blame everyone when you get scam. i think this is why that its time for any institutions related with bitcoin will give the right information so the government will accepted bitcoin.

Philippines is really developed country in terms of bitcoin as most of the people are aware about bitcoin, I have few female friends from Philippines and they all are using bitcoins and that really surprised me as girls from my country have not even heard about bitcoins.

Actually it is not that it is legal or illegal here in the Philippines, it is not regulated by the government and I think they are just starting to monitor online transactions now... Everything that the previous poster said happens because of coins.ph and not because the establishment accepts bitcoin.. Coins.ph just process your transaction, or payment, but the establishment will still receive fiat and not bitcoin.
