Bitcoin is accepted in Australia. It's accepted in most countries except a few like Pakistan, Russia..etc.

I think that this is really hindering Bitcoin capacity to expand.

 Smiley
then it so good for you that bitcoin is acceptable in your country Australia , i am from Pakistan and there is no facility to accept bitcoin as your country but i hope we will soon get the facility to accept bitcoin in my country in near future.

So how do you buy within your country? Through paypal or credit card in some exchange websites? I hope they open up something that will make it easier for other people.
Indeed, in some countries there are many stores that accept bitcoin. But my country is very rare because it is very difficult to find the use bitcoin, and bitcoin very few people who understand. But in my country received only bitcoin circulation less.

In my country, only few people that know about bitcoin and even the government here also not know about bitcoin, so i think bitcoin is still fine and maybe accepted in my country.
I think you're still grateful for your government does not know about bitcoin. I'm sure if your government know about bitcoin and superiority. I'm sure they will think that bitcoin is a threat to them. because of the potential of bitcoin is very large.

Yes it is getting more popular everyday than before hope to get more companies pay salary for their employees only in btc

It will take long time to happen that all companies will start paying salary in bitcoins, but it will be more popular in future and many companies will start using it for sure.
I think for a few years it will still be impossible adopt an enterprise system with bitcoin payment of their salaries. although it could provide benefits for employees for avoiding taxes. but this time bitcoin is not so popular yet? it may take a few more years

Lol yeah I know it. there are two possibilities, may governments around the region rarely sees the Internet or indeed bitcoin famous not lol.
I think it's because bitcoin is less well known then the government does not know about bitcoin
The government obviously know bitcoin and they are already making measures on how to handle it because this is also a threat sometimes like buying illegal weapons and drugs, and the transacting party is unknown due to its anonymous in nature.

Nope, and i am so sad, i want to waste my bitcoins on food in physical shops, want to pay for my coffe with bitcoins but i can use it online only Sad
-sadboys-

Don't worry mate things will change in future for sure, we need to give some more time to bitcoin to become more popular and we will see many offline stores where we would be able to spend our coins.

if you mean by accepted that stores or online sites are accepting it. the answer is no. bitcoin is only famous between people how are interested in making money online or forex. but generally they are very few. so spending bitcoin without exchange it is impossible

Exactly there is no place to spend bitcoins at a moment so only option available is to convert it to local currency and use it in the form of fiat.

Yes, but it is only limited on some stores only and that limited store is not where you can buy your daily needs. Bitcoin accepting stores here are just made for innovation like cupcake stores or coffee shops. You can also pay your bills like credit card, electricity, water bill, etc. but it still risky to do it because bitcoin is not that well known right now so you still have to convert it to cash first before paying them.
You’re still lucky that your country accepts bitcoin. In my place, there are only like one or two coffee shops that uses bitcoin and they only available in the foreigners tour area. And we can hardly pay bills with bitcoin directly. We even don’t have bitcoin ATM so it’s quite difficult for bitcoin users to think about using bitcoins here.
Same here in our country (or we may probably live in the same? I doubt it though).
There's only around a total of at most 10 stores that accept bitcoin and those stores are only found in the capital city which is about 5 hours away from me on vehicle travel. It wouldn't really be worth to go on a 10-hour drive just to see them.
