Here in Brazil is used, but only in small scale and mostly on online shops
Like here in my country which is Philippines we can spend our bitcoin in online shopping and because of the good services of our bitcoin wallet that is coins.ph we can also pay our bills, loading our cellphone, can encash into bank and some remittance centers that is why i can say that bitcoin is already accepted here in my country.

Not everyone accepts bitcoin here in Australia, but some people do. So I guess you could say that it's accepted. If you think about it, it could be accepted anywhere.

As i know my countrie hasnt any position around it at the moment, its a subject they wanna delay as possible to think about it. This will take a long period till some countrie start this and others should follow.
I think when a country began to accept and believe bitcoin. I think there will be many countries will start to follow. so I will be very excited when a country comes and accept bitcoin as a currency option. or at least recognize bitcoin? I hope it will happen
However it will be hard for them to accept when they will not be educated, I think this is our duty to help support bitcoin by educating those people who does not know bitcoin yet. I know there are people that you really need to teach them one on one in order to understand as not all people are techy.

Hi, bitcoin users i am from the Philippines. Willing to know if bitcoin is accepted to in your country. Because right now i have used one service that allows me to pay online or shopping buy steam and load so i am wondering if bitcoin is being used or known in your country.    Huh Huh Huh Huh
In Romania Bitcoin is accepted and some people know and use it. Here we dont have any stores online that accept Bitcoin as payment but i think this is not a problem because you can exchange Bitcoin in other wallets like PerfectMoney and them withdraw it on you credit card and use it.

If we keep fiat out of the system, then Bitcoin is unregulated in my country. As it is decentralized, it can be considered to be a domestic currency here. i think with good adoption in future it may happen.

If you are able to convert your bitcoins to your local currency easily that means bitcoin is accepted in your country but the important this is to know where you can spend it physically or not.
But it does not mean bitcoin is accepted in my country because I converting my amount and no one knows about that and especially the government. But in my country, the freedom of people is very good. they can do anything but without violate the rules of the constitution.

If bitcoin would be illegal in your country then goverment would not allowed for exchange traders to exist, they would have banned them from their services.
thats true and basically then bitcoin wouldnt be able to exist as no one would use it, bitcoin is allowed in my country to be honest at least there are no laws banning it

Its good that you can use bitcoins freely as in most countries government is not supporting bitcoins but they have not banned too, but if bitcoin gets support from government then it can be more powerful and popular.

My goverment already notice bitcoin and they decide to not legalize bitcoin because of it's anonymous.
But still I can use bitcoin and will not getting in jail ! They just remind for bitcoin user to use at their own risk

Yeah. Some country banned bitcoin from transacting inside their country and if they caught you using it, they will put you in jail. But other country only ban the things related to gambling like bitcoin gambling but not the bitcoin itself.

In different countries they have different treatment to bitcoin some may see it as a threat and some treat it as a normal currency. It all really depends on how the country would adopt bitcoin but its good to hear that some countries are already accepting bitcoin as a payment  in purchasing items physically.
A majority of the countries that have accepted bitcoins as a normal currency are all first world countries. I don't know any third world country that have any bitcoin stores already. But I heard due to lack of direct acceptance, many bitcoiners find this as a business opportunity to act as an exchanger to bridge the gaps.

If the Government of that particular country is not corrupted and if they are thinking in benefits of the citizen of their country then they will welcome bitcoin with open arms and it will happen soon in many more countries, we should be positive about it.

Where I live there are some places where bitcoin accepted, like restaurants, few taxi companies.

That's good to hear that you have at least few places where you can spend your coins directly, but the scenario is not same in all countries, in my country its really hard to spend coins.

I think the country you are talking about is Bangladesh as bitcoin is totally banned there and if found using then are very strict laws, but in rest of the countries the scenario is smooth.

As I experienced, my country there is no ban on using bitcoin. There is even a local bitcoin exchanger in my country. But on the other hand, my country has not endorsed the bitcoin. However, if you are using bitcoin here to gamble, it became illegal because my country prohibits gambling. Or fraud in bitcoin transaction, Because fraud is criminal then the authorities will arrest the perpetrators. The government does not prohibit bitcoin if for a good thing.

That is certainly true, but I think there is definitely the citizens who still use the bitcoin in every transaction they do or just wait until the State of the investments they cancelled such banned or wait for the price of bitcoin ride. This will not be a problem, because each country will not be able to do some checking to all of its citizens in the use of the internet
