Hi, bitcoin users i am from the Philippines. Willing to know if bitcoin is accepted to in your country. Because right now i have used one service that allows me to pay online or shopping buy steam and load so i am wondering if bitcoin is being used or known in your country.    Huh Huh Huh Huh

not yet. only a few online shops accept bitcoin here. many people have already known about bitcoin, but not all of them are interested in it.

some people also don't agree about bitcoin as currency. some countries have their own problem about this thing.

In my country. Bitcoin is accepted by other establishment. Actually they have local bitcoin wallet which has many ways to cashout and you can also save it to banks. Bitcoin is popular here in the Philippines so this the future currency in the Philippines. Hopefully many establishments soon to accept bitcoin as payment.

Yes accepted but cannot be used much in stores. You will need to exchange it to fiat first which is not really that hard in our country. It is not really a problem and I see many people now are doing the same thing that I do.

There is really no regulations about bitcoins here just yet, and people are just freely using them.
So far, this has not posed any problems. But if there is any theft involving bitcoins, it is really hard to have it brought to court because just as there's no regulations, there's no support from it either.

Bitcoin is well accepted here in my country. But, I dont know what goverment says about bitcoin nowadays. One thing for sure, here I can buy and sell bitcoin easily. Some exchangers already use bitcoin and its been more than 3 years. I wish in the future, more and more exchangers and merchants will accept bitcoin.
That could happen mate if the price rate the bitcoin is taking now will continue to prosper, I am very optimistic with bitcoin and I believe in due time this will be a mainstream currency and be accepted by every country. The government can legalize this but we nee to wait for a longer time to make that happen.

I'd say from my experience with government departments is most people wouldn't even have heard of bitcoin. The knowledge gap is very wide here, so most gov officials have little chance to understand how to regulate, that's why there's been no crack-downs, and most likely wont be ... apathy

Only few people know bitcoin here however interest on bitcoin is growing here in Nepal seeing the price pump. However not much people really understand how bitcoin works. Bitcoin is not accepted by any of the small to large merchants over here, just few online earning guys deal with buy and selling bitcoin.

However i am seeing lots of potential for bitcoin based business here in Nepal.

Hello kababayan bitcoin is widely used in our country but the central bank of the phillipines are now tightening and regulating bitcoin  Embarrassed
http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-exchanges-regulations-philippines/

Dont worry brother for me this move from central  bank is good because they want to legalized bitcoin as if may not be used for money fraud and being legal gives more opportunity to us , in every country we shoud really have to follow rules so i guess there is nothing wrong in following rules

In my country there's not many sites accepting bitcoin. The market is starting to appear for now, so I guess that in a few years we will have a lot of places to spend bitcoin in the country.

Yup we are not able to spend it easily at a moment but the best thing is that we can convert it to our local currency anytime we want which can take care of our spendings.
