Lol.. She must be much more comfortable in using your credit card rather then using bitcoins. As the girls are very much attracted in shopping and they are used to credit cards so they don't want to experiment something new, the only thing important for them is shopping either by credit card or by fiat and that also with bf's money

Nice too see family's gaining interest in bitcoin. No doubt she will get to know it more and maybe look at using it more in the future. Even if to save for a rainy day. No doubt price will evenly go up and many will gain from it as many already have done. Would be nice if ever got to point of being fully mainstream and used worldwide everywhere then price would pick up due to supply and demands of it.
