I believe that you need to buy BTC and not sell ALTCOIN, since they will both shoot to the Moon. If you do this, it will be much more logical than selling and investing in one BTC.

Your profit relies on your own decision pal. Don’t follow what you have seen or what is advised by somebody for you to do because in the end you will just blame yourself for not following your own decision. Theres no bachelor or kingsman in crypto-predicting where to bet right.
I agree to this completely. You should not let others take financial decisions for you as their thinking and conditions can be much different.
For instance, I am investing in alt coins just for temporary gains. I am not going to touch my BTC investments as those investments are for 4-5 years and thus I am using alt coins for short term gains. However, some people might like to hold their alt coins for months also in the hope that it gives returns like bitcoins has given in past.
If in my opinion, It depends on your trading strategy. If you think altcoin has potential and plans to persist for the long term. And there is no point to sell if the price goes down. And If you already have doubts about your altcoin and how it works, you'd better sell it all than your mind depends on the worries about altcoin and its fate.

Why don't you split your funds for bitcoin and also alt coins. You are able to earn from those and reducing risk when one of them dropped. Bitcoin would face a huge issue this year and we might see them sideways.

If we have bitcoin now I recommend not selling it. If we also have altcoins I would also recommend not to sell them. Most prices are down at this time so it is not the time to sell but to buy more.
