What reason would you have to sell all your alts, to buy BTC? based on speculations? not a very wise idea, BTC will reach its heights finally, but diversifying makes you a wise investor, id rather you keep the alts and make separate BTC investment
Decision relating to buying and selling of coin should always be done with care because when one is not careful, it can lead to total loss of investment. One must know when to sell so avoid regrets in the future. There are instances whereby you hold a coin for sometime and just decided to sell for a reasonable price but that price might double in some days interval.

I dont think so bitcoin could reach 20k again. Last year is great year for cryptocurrency, the hype for bitcoin is really high that even makes bitcoin reach 20k but today in this year is years which regulation will coming out. i believe in this year many adjusment to be done and i dont think there will be pottential for bitcoin to reach that much in this year, but in the end of this year there might be big grow after all the regulation clear and there will be no more problem for cryptocurrency and worldwide could accept cryptocurrency as an asset and as a currency. I think you shouldn't do that. For me, a diversified portfolio is always better.

If it is my advice, do not sell all the altcoin you have. Which if potentially rising the price should just hold it first. But if the coin you have is not so good your prospect could have sold it before the coin price died. All decisions are in your hands. That's it from me.

It is not a good idea to sell all altcoins that you are holding just because of bitcoin price is raising. It's good to sell the others while holding some which is in your own finding that altcoins has a good future
