Depends on what BTC decides to do imo. Still well above the exchange listing news. I will probably pull the trigger if BTC stabalises above 7.2k. I'd like to buy in around 0.0065 ETH but might start DCA. I like VEN - they are constant with the marketing and partnerships.Do you think that BTC is going to reach 20k soon?

Yeah, the whole market hangs on BTC's movements but you can put stop losses up. I like Ven and I'm in and out of Ven. I've seen people mention AION and ENG but I haven't researched them, could you give me the basics on them? If you're interested at all in low market caps you should take a look at Expanse and Loci.
the market will recover with time and the alt coins might just gain their value back, its also safer to diversify when investing, putting it all on BTC might just raise the risks unnecessarily.
for me it depends on its current value if i sell my alts in like $100 its not worth it for me because that price is not worth it i would hold it for now if the price is down i would wait till its price gets higher for me just dont panic selling you can earn more.

If you are afraid from this downtrend then you leave this market as ups and downs comes at every support and resistance point. This market give decent return to its long term holders as you can see the ethereum, dash, monero and bitcoin gain too much value in last 2 years.

Why sell your altcoyins? now the market has fallen down, I think we need to wait and soon the market will begin to recover and the price will go up. I advise you not to sell, wait.
For me, the safest decision will be selling your alts and wait for bitcoin to go up. It also depends on the price of the alt. Most of the time, when an alt joined a listing, the price is higher compared to what it will be 1-2 months after it was listed. It will only increase after 6 months. So if you are not planning to hold your alt for more than 6 months, I think its much better if you just sell it and wait for BTC to go up.
If i were you don't sell all your altcoins. Especially when you are holding altcoins that will be one of the best alts in the market. We don't know one day your altcoins will be like bitcoin or ethereum.

The current BTC value is about 7,000-8,000 dollars. I think BTC can reach 20,000 dollars but it takes quite a long time. My advice just hold on altcoin you have for a while and monitor the state of the value of btc and altcoin you have and how they progress in the market.
You don't need to sell all your alts, the price has recover and we will see in the end of 2018 that all coins would reaches its peak and everyone will be very happy with that.

Both are good, its up your choice and good luck. You future will depend on you hand so sell or hold. But for my opinion just hold your alts. For us a lack of fund to buy btc, must better to hold an alt, cheaps but when hit the moon can be triple or anything our investment
I'd rather hold than sell . the market value is still increasing and becoming more expensive. But if you really make some coins, you'd better sell them. Those that will be kept should be stored for a year.

it depends on your own decision, for me, I'm not gonna sell alts as of now because their prices are too low. even if you say that bitcoin will pump soon, what's the point of holding bitcoin if you dont get any profit on holding your altcoins. you just lose your profit from it.
