If you want to live a safer way, stay low key. Do not publicized what you have gained from your investments or whatsoever that involves huge amount of money because that will only make other people develop envy towards you. Let’s face the reality that not all people are happy with your high earnings, some may even plan  at your back due to greed and jealousy.
Your advice is correct, but it sounds very unfair. Many people are willing to enjoy the results of our hard work, but are not willing to be part of the process. They never know how we process to get what we want, whereas they just want to enjoy it. Likewise with jealous people, they never know how the process works, they just don't want to see us being better than them.

So far I have heard advice like this very often everywhere both online and in the real world, so I think this is the best warning to maintain financial privacy. Not everyone is happy with us being better than them, so staying calm is good advice.

By the way, who is the happiest today?

It would really be just that depending on you on how you would really be having that kind of trust when it comes your funds and this is something that you would really having that kind of doubts when it comes to the security of  your funds. I do agree into those words above that if you cant really be able trust up your family then find up ways on how they would be able to benefit once you do pass away.
You are the ones who would really be finding up the method for you to benefit out to those finances that you have stored up. Its up to you whether on how you would be securing out that kind of safety of your funds.
Also when you do make out some money then it would really be best that you do really know on how to control yourself on not to expose on how much you do earn.
Just like on what everybody saying on here is that its too risky that you do make yourself having that kind of exposure into public that you earn this and that.
Making crypto wealth exposed to the public for no reason will be dangerous for everyone's personal security, this will even result in many people being curious and intending to take it from you. There is no need to expose anything as long as the profits obtained will make you a lucky person. can get out of the bearish market well. Closing everything and carrying on with life as usual is the right choice so that no danger threatens.

I think everyone knows that, be a low profile player in crypto, and don't flaunt your riches like what I see in social media. Specially in the last bull run, when there are influencers who says that they got rich and all of that and then when bear market sets in, they are all gone and never come back because there's nothing that they can brag upon. But for those who remain under the radar, like the rest of us, then good. Just be a normal individual in your neighborhood and don't show them your bank account as we really don't know who are the people around us and who we trusted. For some this might come naturally, but for others, we should change our lifestyle and and just be reserved.

After knowing what being jealous could result to, I hope we would keep our mouth shuts and keep up with out anonymities during and after the bull-run.
Silent is safety wise
Remaining anonymous is the safest and that's true, that's why we rarely see people who have large Bitcoin assets showing off and saying that they have them even if someone says so we doubt that they have them because basically those who choose Bitcoin as an investment because they want to be anonymous. Likewise when we see people who post about Bitcoin either when commenting on bad things or vice versa because I think they don't actually own it.
I never tell anyone that I have Bitcoin except my family because this is a precaution if something undesirable happens, and I think it's important so that they can enjoy Bitcoin I have if something unexpected happens to us.
As much as we want to stay anonymous it may not really be possible, now that regulations are taking over in crypto, although we still can keep our mouth shut like what @EluguHcman said there. A true rich people are already like this anyway and they mainly do that for their safety. Those who comment negatively about BTC are sometimes only spreading a FUD and they do have a BTC. Their only goal is to help dip the price more, so that they can acquire more of it cheaply. Even though you got a good point there about sharing our BTC's to our family but we must be picky about the members that we will tell because some may not really deserve it.

BTC to the MOON in 2019
We better keep our lives secret rather than expose them publicly because people around us are never happy with our great achievements as they prefer to see us down. I'm not sure if this is also happening in other countries but this really happens to us where people get jealous when they see someone become rich. In order to avoid these people, never show anything good to them. As much as possible, never let these people know your income and investment because they will just create unreliable stories that ruin your personality and reputation.

Never post anything on social media about your life or it is much better not to use this platform anymore to keep everything secret and unknown. And also for security reasons.

For me, other than family, no one will be happy for us if we earn more money than them, including close friends. Therefore, keeping our investments and valuable assets private from people who are not our relatives is something we should adhere to. We should even only share those things with our parents and wives and children, and for aunts and uncles, these people are not trustworthy because they will also be jealous if they or their children do not earn more money than us.

This is human nature and no one is without it, including me. I also don't feel happy when I see someone making more money than me, and I understand that feeling, so I always try to never show off the profits I have made from bitcoin to them.

People will be very curious if someone exposes the results of crypto profits and then shows it to many people under the pretext that he is arrogant so that he can be called successful?

That is way too vulgar... It's clear that we've seen several cases where when someone flaunts wealth it creates a problem where someone can seize your assets at any time when you're caught off guard.

Don't make it your success in the eyes of others, don't look luxurious, it's better to live modestly than glamorously which will lead to theft.

No one tells you that you should tell everyone in your family about how much bitcoin you have, you just need to tell the people you trust the most to avoid unexpected accidents happening to you. And if you think that even your parents want to abuse you then I have nothing more to say to you because they are the ones who gave birth to you and took care of you growing up. Even if the person was born and sacrificed his whole life to raise you, and you still doubt him, there is nothing left to describe about you.

By the way, how much bitcoin do you have and how much is it worth so you think it's a huge amount of money and bigger than your whole family, do you have 10BTC or 100BTC? And do you know how much money your parents spent and what they lost while raising you for the first 20 years of your life?

We should keep quiet from the world about how many bitcoins we have because it doesn't make them respect us more but instead they can endanger us. But telling our loved ones is something we should do right away because if something unexpected happens to us, at least our loved ones can enjoy our efforts. But what's quite strange is that there are quite a few people who don't think like you and me. They don't even want to reveal their bitcoins to their relatives, they are afraid that their bitcoins will be stolen by their relatives. They think bitcoin is more important than their parents, wives and children.

Anyway, it's their decision but what makes me curious is, do they have 10BTC or 100BTC, how much BTC do they have so they think it's more valuable than their relatives?
Not all individuals would really be that too confident on telling everything even into their family or into its members because once they've known that you do have tons of money in crypto form then there's a tendency about
possible abuse when it comes to spending or something that asking out for funding or really just that confident because they've known that there's one on the family which is really that having that huge money.
Into my situation then this is what im really doing on which i do tend to be silent even into my family members. You wont really be stressing yourself too much or really that confident that there's no one been knowing that you are holding a lot. We dont know on what would happen but of course you should really know on making up some backups that your family could really be able to know if there's something that would happen into you.
It would really be just that normal that there could be possibly lost of your coins if you dont tend to share up at least on how to access those coins in case.

I know some people in my circle who are publicly sharing their gains in social media. I couldn't fault them if this is the first time their investments are performing way above than what they expected. They can't help but feel excited, but also at the same time, I can't help but feel scared for their safety. They can easily be a target of criminals if they don't keep their mouth shut, and lose all their money just because they can't contain their excitement.

Having said that, if you have some coins during this bull run, better keep it tight and keep your mouth shut. You'll never know who's out there willing to do every nefarious thing possible to get that money from you.
As bitcoin becomes more mainstream, the more common this will become and criminals will put more attention to them, so anyone that has at some point posted anything about having large amounts of bitcoin or the impressive profits they have gotten with altcoins, should probably delete those posts or they may eventually face terrible consequences.

Besides their actions do not make a lot of sense, after all I do not see anyone posting their bank statements online, so if people are smart enough to keep that information private, I do not understand why they think about bitcoin and altcoins in a different way.

Hi EluguHcman, social jealousy always exists in social life. Even if you are not a bitcoin investor, you should never reveal how much money you have to anyone. Obviously the main reason is to avoid social conflicts caused by social jealousy, but the most important thing is your privacy and security.

Really, I understand what you mean and honestly this is worth avoiding. Even if you need recognition in social life, you should not risk your privacy and security because of money. Remember that the economy is tough and there are many cases of violence and robberies everywhere just because they need money, so stay safe regardless of how much money you have in bitcoin or so on.

There is no point in it either. Not to mention that I personally don't like introducing Bitcoin to others as something that you can make a profit from. It is money and it should always be introduced as money not an investment, which is something I always try to do.
Aside from your personal like... I also don't see it as something safe to introduce bitcoin to people as a means to earn wealth; it's really one of the things that creates misconceptions in terms of them taking the wrong step in investing in Bitcoin, carrying over expectations around, and when the price doesn't give them what they want, they get disappointed, and newbies who are introduced to Bitcoin with such conceptions are the ones who are easily manipulated and scammed as a result of them believing and looking for means to double their money through Bitcoin investment.

If its your first time t hen you would be able to understand but as much as possible they should really be keeping it secret, not unless if the amount is really just that small or not really that big
then he/she might be safe into those people around but if we do speak about hundred thousands of dollars or a million then its a suicide thing on telling on how much you earn or possess.
Just like on what everyone is saying that staying low key is something that will really be that better rather than on making yourself that too overly excited on sharing up your success.
For personal approach or someone whose really that close to us then it might be considered or someone whose family but talking it on public or something exaggerated
then you are really putting yourself at risk.

This has got me to ask, after the bull run and hopefully you hodles your Bitcoin til the ATH and then you have made enough money, are you going to go out there and let those who were in doubt about the profitable potentials of Bitcoin to let them know about your investment in the Bitcoin and how so well you are doing in the industry?

That would be the most stupidest thing to do it would only create more jealousy and some people may even try to extort it from you with various means hence ei would never ever do that and the whole concept of Bitcoin is anonymity and decentralisation hence if we go and shout out lungs out about our achievement and how much money we made it's against the basic of Bitcoin. I may discuss it without revealing about the monetary gain with new of my close friend or relatives.
