Man FUD is part of crypto.  You want to take contact out of hockey or play touch football?  Hell no give me my coins and FUD.  I'm a big boy.  I can decipher the message.  We need to take responsibility and stop trying to make little groups to push stuff we don't like out.
FUD is part of all the markets, rumors are very common in wall street as well and no one is trying to eliminate them, it seems people want to have a decentralized market where there is not a central authority and yet they want the market to be filtered and only get positive opinions about bitcoin and that is not going to happen.

In fact if you think about it FUD can be very beneficial for the right investor, if a person stops investing or sells his bitcoin because of FUD then that person is not a very good investor and would have lost his money anyway for another reason and yet this opens the opportunity for those that really believe in bitcoin to buy those coins for cheap.

I think in this forum there are lots of people who write messages in Topeka, not thinking, they just have to rate bounty for signatures. They are ready to warm up comments on any topic and it's scary. I have argued many times and told these people what to do when bitcoin or altcoins are falling, do not panic, do not need to bury coins, ahead of time.

Sometimes it helps to correct a wrong notion being spread, that is one way to fight FUD. Keeping quiet about it may not be very effective, education  is better.

We have to speak and defend bitcoin from those FUDs. I understand that part of ignoring but we just can't keep quiet. There are newbies out there that are believing those FUDs so if you see one of it, speak the truth and don't let that FUD deceive most of the new investors. For the people who have here quite awhile and doesn't really care about those FUDs can ignore it but as I've mentioned we can't just let those FUDs affect the newbies.

Guys it's becoming more and more popular to spread fud on this forum, I'm actually slowly finding it difficult to look up a thread of any value at all. The best strategy to combat the people who are intentionally spreading ridiculous comments on how bitcoin will die is not to raise those threads by commenting on them. Let them post it and slip into oblivion by not giving them the visibility they're thriving for. Rather create and comment on threads with reasonable remarks on crypto economy.

This is a practical advice. I mean, why do we need to respond to people who spreads negativity in our space? Unless we respond to rebuke them, then by all means, respond. These people are like viruses that need to be treated or removed from the system. Otherwise, they will slowly destroy the system until it dies.

People have their own will and mind in responding threads in the forum. Whether if it is a good thread or a thread by a person who's a FUD. We all know that FUDs are person who are scared. It is the will of a person who reads their post if they will believe it or not. Honestly, I have read and replied to many post like that but it did not affect me.

It is impossible for many to do what you are asking and the reason is simple, when things go wrong the search for information goes up dramatically, this is a known fact about humans, people are seeing that almost all the coins are down and they are losing money so they are looking for information to explain what it is happening.

We know what it is happening, the market of cryptocurrencies has a high level of volatility and after the bubble we suffered a crash, that was inevitable and an eventual recovery is inevitable as well, but people will not believe such a logical explanation, to them it makes more sense that the market is dying or something ridiculous like that, so just accept it, it is natural that such threads appear right now the same way that it is very natural to see threads of incredible optimism when the market is doing well.

Exactly! Let them post it and tuck it in by not giving them the visibility they want. It is unfortunate because Many new investors become anxious because of FUD threads.

that's absolutely right, approximately one out of three threads is about the end that has come.. I feel sorry that some new comers can actually believe the "fudders" and follow their recommendations..

If supporters of crypto currency does not point out that the thread is just a way of spreading FUD, then newbies will fall for it. It is better to reply to those post and let others know that its just a shit post that should be avoided. Moreover, don't you think those post actually helps us to filter out the weak ones and just the profit grabbers from the market?

Oh, if only FUD began and ended here. FUD is basically everywhere cryptocurrencies are. Crypto news outlets, Youtube videos, Social Media and Telegram groups/channels, Forums posts, Exchanges Chat (read: spam) Rooms/boxes, etc. are all sources of FUD, and their impact vary according to how big their audience and how well their FUD is executed.

As an investor in cryptocurrency, I always avoids FUD threads. I always think about my investment and plan how I can profit from my little investment.

Good thought, I think like that because it's not possible to get profit from this crypto market when you think of FUD threads. You have to wait and keep your investment safe so that the potential for profit in the future will increase.

Well said, I think this should be the most important because of forgetting FUD threads and believing in investment. Because by this way the probability of profit increases.
