FUD posts have been here since the introduction of the community but honestly, people have become more mature now to fall for them. Even though I have seen a lot of people falling for these unknowingly but those should take this experience as a lesson since they couldn't take their own responsibilities. Hopefully, they will start ignoring such threads from the future.
They are mostly sh*tposters responding to every topic they see Cheesy
Nah. I like seeing people roasting those who post nonsense FUD. They're not going anywhere soon anyway. Shitposters will always shitpost.
Like many of them are here, I don't know where they come from but as soon as a topic is opened you'd see pages of sh*tposts Cheesy
This is a very good advice. Even Bitcoin haters are on this forum trying to discourage people from doing crypto.
Ignore bitcoin haters, They gotta hate bitcoin anyways.

You are totally wrong. We have the responsibility to counter all FUD on a public domain. If we leave the FUD, people reading this will think it is true and they will panic. I always look for the counter argument of a heated discussion, because all arguments have two sides to the story.

When these people come to this forum and their intention is to spread FUD, then we will stand up against that and we will cut them down with stronger counter arguments and in most cases the truth.

We need to put a strong message out there that we will not leave FUD threads uncontested on this forum.  Angry

I agree, fud news supposed to be denied so other people know that the news is wrong, if we left it then other people will thought that it is true and spread the news to other member, all of us got the responsibility to stop fud and bring bitcoin to a better condition, by not response to it then its mean we are guilty too

It's a tactic that's been used forever but you have to admit, it works pretty well for the FUDsters in the cryptocurrency world! I think it is better for the FUD to be exposed and let the people decide for themselves. If it is FUD, it will be figured out after a while.

Guys it's becoming more and more popular to spread fud on this forum, I'm actually slowly finding it difficult to look up a thread of any value at all. The best strategy to combat the people who are intentionally spreading ridiculous comments on how bitcoin will die is not to raise those threads by commenting on them. Let them post it and slip into oblivion by not giving them the visibility they're thriving for. Rather create and comment on threads with reasonable remarks on crypto economy.

I totally agree, we should stay together to fight that FUDer, by leave them alone with their FUD News and stuff. The only way to make it happen by stay together with the community member. or the admin should delete any thread about FUD things.

Sometikes we just cant control this FUD. They exist because they want to take down something big that cant be done in face to face combat. Maybe this a dirty moves but its somehow very effective. They are attacking the psychological aspects of one person and it really going through inside them. In the end, this FUD wins the game. Better not to read this kind of article especially without a hard basis. Dont be magnetize to their title and just focus and continue what is the best for your investments.

I agree with you. Our forum has so many negative people and they always have bad reviews about the market. They have a lot of influence on other investors.
We should make great economical analysis articles so that people can grasp the market for the future.

Yes, I support the author's comment about not responding to any FUD threads which I believe everyone that truly supported cryptocurrency to become more successful. This should not be responded so that it could not escalate further and newbies should first read the subject if it is considered a FUD or not prior to just responding immediately.

Guys it's becoming more and more popular to spread fud on this forum,

this is a good thing. i would actually go as far as saying some of these FUD topics must be stocked to the top of each board so that people can see them in the long term. people, specially newcomers need to become familiar with the concept of FUD and learn how bullshit it is so that they can start seeing behind the curtain.

for example you need to go back in time and check old topics, for example from last year as bitcoin price was rising. during the rise from $1000 to $3000ish there were a lot of FUD comparing bitcoin to its 2013 trend and they kept putting that chart on the current chart of that time and say it is the same and price will fall down to $200 again. = complete nonsense.

These posts have been deeply concerning me for a long time. One of my friends who invested on Bitcoin after knowing about it from me, recently fell for such a post and sold the coin even with asking me for my opinion. This is very saddening to be honest. Don't think ignoring will do the work. We definitely need to ban such people who scare other off from the market.

After the beginning of the delivery of merit on the forum, every person who starts to read any topic - thinks ... If he does not like him, he thinks the topic is a flood. But if the topic is interesting - then everything is fine.
You can also consider your topic as a flood for filling posts, but if frankly, I support you. Wink
P.S. The more rules and restrictions - then it seems that something is not right.
